clearly the only thing to do is either go somewhere really cold as everyone knows zombies dont have body heat so they would freeze or go to an island because zombies lack the motor functions required to swim and so would just be harmlessly floating on the surface, of course with the island a large fence must surround the perimiter in the water to preven any being washed upon the shore. for the food source you can always fish, on both the island and frozen paradise (what do eskimos eat? they live in a frozen place and survive so there has to be a near by food source) but the island climate would also allow growth of fruit and vegetables and if it is an archepilego (group of islands) you could easily have several different crops and farm animals.
i would also use shotguns, chainsaws and or flamethrowers

from the choice of grenades or flamethrowers i would choose flame 1. because i like to burn things, except the smell would get to you after a while and 2. i wouldnt want to accidently be blown up by grenades and i wouldnt want to accidently blow up other survivors

are they the kind of zombies that can or cant run? coz if they cudnt id jus wander around and keep them at arms length. then get a car have a sleep. go get some food from a shop, have a wander etc etc

however if they can run id probably tie people upn that i dont like and use them as protective sacrifices.

If there's one thing you can learn from zombie movies is that you can NEVER sleep, unless you're in a group and do it in shifts. But even then there's always 1 lousy guard who falls asleep and turns the group into zombie food.

using the tasty flesh of your enemies is also a viable plan for escape, id use that to get to my island or forzen paradise, probly island it would be more comfortable and easier to live

Another idea, you can always join the space program and live in a moonbase or something

But then you might confront a new risk: Space zombies! muhaha!

Fence off the island? Interesting idea, but how are you going to fish then?

or maybe you can just get a hummr and run hordes of zombies over with the car. Maybe have there being a few flamers under the car to burn them to bits.

the fence would be out a reasonable distance of course, its downside would be cost and it wouldnt be visually appealing along the horizon, i suppose it would be more visually appealing then a horde of corpses in the water though and whats the point of a beautiful island if you can enjoy the beach and exclent scooba opportunities
