The physiological differences tend to be pretty extreme in elite athletes.

What I have found with womans sport is if they have their own sport rather than one men compete in as well it makes the viewing far more entertaining.

See: Netball for example. Shits pretty awesome to watch. Sure, sure men would dominate it if they chose to play it but its kinda cool that woman have a sport that they can dominate in without being in the shadow of the mens league.

I never said men cant or shouldnt play netball; ive played plenty of it in my time; prob one of the most fun sports to play socially.

I just like the fact that elite male athletes do not participate in Netball (through choice rather than any particular mandate or anything).

Of course they would (well basketballers at least). But they dont, and i feel because they dont, it makes the womans version of the sport better than if they did.

And then you ask, well wouldnt the mens version be better to watch? And i'd prob say: nah in all likelyhood i'd get the same enjoyment out of it.

Women have volleyball and that really only exists so men can watch fit women wear either tights in indoor volleyball or bikinis in beach volleyball.

The WNBA is just unbearable. I gave it a chance and shut it off halfway through.

Really, the only women's sport I can watch is tennis and that's only in grand slams.
