I think it would be better if the Ottawa vs. Buffalo series was just as good. I mean, it is good that the Sabers were able to win one game but I think it would be great if the series went to game 7. Same for the Wings, Ducks series, I like intense matches.

I'm really disappointed in the result, especially with Pronger out, but I'm not really mad like usual after a loss. Detroit couldn't score on either 5-3, which bothered me, but I still felt they played well enough to win. Hasek had a bad game. The first goal was a horrible play by Bertuzzi, and Selanne woke up. But I don't know, I'm not down on the Wings yet, I still think they'll win this series.

well you were right about one thing

there tied 2-2 like in all there other series's they played

I'm not surprised that the Ducks one this game. I knew that they'd get their shit together soon enough, and I guess this was the game that did it.

But I still have Detriot winning the series.

Yep. Also, Hasek had a bad game. Historically, he comes back with a great game... so things might look good for Detroit at home Sunday.

I don't know, just one man does not settle the whole debate, or series for that matter.

Just with Chris back in the Ducks lineup, it still will never prove to be a good push. I like Bill Simmon's, but thats just what I am calling it with out reading Bill's statement.

If the Wings win tomorrow, it'll be over in 6. Detroit hasn't lost a close-out game since... it's been years. I forgot when.

Regardless, I'm beginning to think that Ottawa wins the cup... it'll be tough for either Western team. And it would be nice for Canada.

Yeah the last team from Canada to win the cup was the Montreal Canadiens in 1993. With Patrick Roy as Montreal's goaltender may I add.

Then the Vancouver Canucks lost in 1994, then the Calgary Flames lost in 2004, and then last year it was the Edmonton Oilers that lost in the finals.

Detroit has been in control of the last three games, with only one win to show for it. I can't feel too down on this team... they obviously can still make this happen.

Detroit is an experienced team. I wouldn't be surprised if they win this series. But the thing with the ducks is that they wait, and capitalize on their opportunities. If the wings do the same, the wings will have no trouble winning it.

I still have Detroit winning the series.
