Be afraid, be very afraid. When an english man oozes sincerity in a non understated fashion, then keep a weather eye out for precipitation involving cats and dogs.

What was the purpose of this comment? Comments like this from Atlantis remind me why I have stayed relatively quiet in these two wars. In my view, Altantis presented themselves as a bunch of pussies at the beginning of the NCC4 war. The games were close and challenging - sure - but the attitudes reflected by some members of Atlantis ruined it for me. Note that I said some members of Atlantis - not all. When you plaster that trident in your avatar or your signature, however, you represent a team. When I see that trident, I think of a team of pompous, distasteful folks.

Is this supposed to be an apology? Telling stotzi you made an accusation based on an assumption just shows me that you are a fool.
I hope to never play another game vs Atlantis again. These two wars vs Atlantis have been the worst experience of my five years on CC.

It is hard to fault doublediamond for that impression. One can only add that Teflon has had a cold this week, and I know from my own experience that it makes the world seem gray and strains your patience. It is easy to write a quick message that unfortunately stays permanently, even if one does not always wish it to have such long-term weight. That is the nature of the internet that we all have to wrestle with. But we rely on Risk Attackers' well-known magnanimity. Risk Attackers, of course, is a stand-up clan which deserves our high esteem, just as we aspire to the same.

I always cringe when you guys put Kings Court in your home lineup
Why not pick Doodle or something like that? :p
King's Court is fun to watch but not to play. Unless people put fog on it so you can't see it. I hate fog, I don't think it ever adds much, and it makes it impossible for people to have fun watching. I also don't like cards, they don't add much either; simply force all players to deploy on themselves to attack each turn, which lessens cooperation. Like in our Iberia game right now, 13323835. And they are a big chance factor, giving advantages to whoever gets good cards, as if dice weren't a big enough chance factor already. But I digress.

Game 13322722 A win for the "good" guys, though a rather favourable drop and clement dice helped. You put up a good fight in this one folks

Thanks Bogan. It was a good fight, and it's our first loss on this map to my recollection. We don't play it too often, but when we do, we perform well.
ATL played very well in this one. You consistently deployed in all the places where we did not want you to deploy

It is because I can't stand people liking me. I often deploy my troops on territories that my team mates don't like either! You've been unlucky enough to be on the same team as me often enough to know that if I just do whatever Draq, Gallant, or you tell me I'm fine. It is when I try thinking.
<Imagine, Bogan singing "no body knows the trouble I seen, nobody knows my sorrow" whilst peeling potatoes, then shining Draq's boots>
@Violet - Is a fun little map. If you ever want a game that never ends, but is fun. Evenly matched teams. Quads Forbidden City ns, fog, adj. Can literally take months to grind out a win. Strangely satisfying though. As you know trips can be a bit chancy with the drop(we got a dream drop), quads however really makes you think.

Note alster's top-notch play in his last turn, another victory for Atlantis:
Game 13323835
Wrote this yesterday, but the server restoration means the message disappeared. Had to take a turn
all over again in another game because of that. Imagine if it had also restored to before alster's move!

Looks like 22-21 in Atlantis' favor. Is it perhaps
this game you think will go to RA? While one Atlantean player has been eliminated, Atlantis still has 32 regions against RA's 26. However, since it is fog we would need to hear from the players involved to be certain about in which direction it is leaning.

Unfortunately I have seen that often. I don't want to complain about our opponents, but some could make us happier by making their moves earlier. It is a good rule to log in at least one time in the morning and then again in the evening.

Except some of us don't drink coffee?
Designed for the casual gamer, playing Conquer Club is not a time consuming process. You can take your turn in 5 minutes with your morning cup of coffee

Most of the players do, however I know what it's like being on the inside of RA's turns (trust me, not a fun place

) and they like to wait until ALL of their team has seen the chat and left comments. Or at least, that is how I remember it

And that is exactly why you aren't in RA

Don't want you to be any place that you won't enjoy.

I actually understand what you are saying here Gustav. I have a few clanmates who do let their turns go really low, and I've even talked to them about this. They said that they would get better, but of course, they haven't
Sometimes comments are left very early on, and these people may be logged on multiple times in the interim and still not play their turn until it's about to expire

It makes me a bit paranoid, because I don't know whether I should jump in for them or not, and I hate to be in class, wondering if my clanmates have taken their turns. I've been a nervous wreck the past 2-3 weeks, and for my sake, this cannot continue, because it takes a toll on other things that I have going on.
Unless there is an absolutely good reason for it, the timers shouldn't be going down to the last few hours before turns are players.
I'll continue to try to encourage these players to get better about taking their turns sooner, but I can't promise anything.
I do apologize about this Gustav, because it is annoying for both sides!
RA members reading this- you know who you are. Don't make me send another fiesty pm or wall message, telling you guys to shape up. Do it on your own, and play your turns on time!!
betiko wrote:Can you guys kick each other s ass faster please? We want an opponent for quarter finals!

Lol, no we cannot

Your war started earlier than ours, so naturally, you finished sooner. Also, we put some big, long maps in the third batch, so don't expect this war to end anytime soon. Just be patient, happy and enjoy the process

Ha Vio, while the winner is decided, i m pretty sure that our war will technically finish after yours. We have been stupid enough to set a trench flat rate quads on feudal epic with no round limit. That game will probably still be going on after the CC4 finishes. A real torture!
Birdboy, your punishment ended this week you can go back to your trident. Of course, you are free to keep it if you have some new special treats from megaswoman.

Are you replying to these above comments as a player from RoTs clan ?
What gets you the feeling or urge then you feel like taking these inquerries be things to yourself to answer rather than and before any right address answer them?
Are you being in RoTs while feeling a RA ?
Do not get the wrong idea, i am not saying something nasty here...
What and all i am saying is that i find it to be a bit of interesting, always when i see ppl those answers questions even though they are not asked/addressed...
Finally, by all means, you may add your thoughts anywhere without a need to ask me or anyone else if you could. Lol.

Every player has 24h to move, so I do not see the problem. Nobody moves slowly to irritate somebody else, so there are other reasons. If we would move slow on purpose or for provocation I would agree to stop that, but that's not the case, I promise you!
We are very active in the chat, and there is often a long timespan between question and answer, e.g. doublediamond and I have a time difference of 8 hrs, Vio and I of 6 hrs - that's why it is allowed to need 24hrs for a turn, isn't it? I cannot image a single player, who knows what he shall do and nevertheless not making his turn. Would be pretty dumb, wouldn't it?!

Since it is a habit late turn taking here, and in conjunction with the above comment you have made recetly (highlighted in blue above), then may i get that you do NOT know what you should do in games mate ?
