cmckinney wrote:with 26 players, is it possible that we might have 2 different mafias?
The way Talapus put this game it sounds like everyone is either Pro-Gotham or Anti-Gotham, so overall there are two groups, but he also said players on each side wouldn't know who's all on their side. With a game this big I'm sure there's mafia, an SK and possibly more. There's no reason to discuss it on Day 1 though because we'd have a much better idea on Day 2 after there's been night kills.
there is no one player that knows who else is all on their side. So, there may be some mafia members, but they won’t know who else is technically Anti-Gotham or Pro-Gotham. Same thing for the Pro-Gotham players, everyone is pretty much in the dark.
Which means there is probably 1 mafia player per mafia. So there could be more than 1 mafia. Which means a rough night.

and that's different from what usually happens how? i've only seen scum caught out on the first day once (i might not have huge experience, but i've seen plenty of games), and he was a complete noob. i thought rather than wadding through 10 pages of people claiming to random vote, but really voting for whoever they don't like from previous games, i'd take the more fun way and try out a new feature. ah well, as always anything anyone says or does on day 1 looks scummy and gets you the finger

the people who get lynched on day 1 are normally idiots that screw the game up anyway and pro-town or not it is often good to see the back of them. With this random vote concept anyone could go including the most experienced players and instead we would get left with noob deadbeaters plus no proper information to go on as it would just be a lottery.
With 26 players it takes 14 to lynch. Day 1 will end 4am(PST) on June 12th . That’s 63 hours from now, make them count!
On a side note I was told alexwales93 may not be able to post until closer to Sunday which is one of the reasons Day 1 will last so long. But just by looking at the votes so far, I can tell you will need all the time you can get!
Chad22342 will be prodded if I hear nothing within the next day and possibly replaced.

if it comes down to a random vote, i suggest we vote a person who hasn't contributed at all to the game.
Chad22342, Avron, Kernal_Kronic, Skittles!, and Skoffin have said nothing. When it comes down to a vote, and we don't have any real suspicions, and one of these people haven't said anythingn, I think we should lynch them.
Not a big fan of the random vote. You'd have to figure the random would be good for the minority, (most likely scum, therefore), because you have less of a chance of getting caught then a townie (pro sider).

wow your a little eager bever aren't you? You have been saying constantly, wow, where is everybody, and that nobody talks. Its seems like you cant wait for a lynch....We have time for a reason, for people to come on and say what they think. FOS cmkinney
Skittles! wrote:Hi, sorry I haven't posted since now, but I've had no electricity since friday, it's now sunday, and yeah. Now I'll read the thread and kaboom.
No worries skittles!...just checking to make sure you were still alive. I'll take you off my "players to prod" list!
cmckinney wrote:all im saying is that I owuld like for them to confirm they are playing.
Also, nothing of susbstance has really been said besdies random votes
Dude, we all didn't confirm via the thread. Some, like me, also confirmed via PM, cause we got a PM to join the game.
Other than that, you're pretty eager for a lynch for people who hasn't said anything yet. We have ages to do have a lynch, and you want one now?
Vote: Cmckinney. Also, alas, this is not an OMGUS vote, if you were wondering.

I was merely going on what the mod had written. He had said that Chad22342, Avron, Kernal_Kronic, Skittles!, and Skoffin would be prodded so I was merely stating that these people had been inactive and that if it came down to where there wasn't much to go on for a vote (on day 1 there normally isn't) then we might want to vote someone who hadn't said anything in the forum.
I am sorry if it came across like i was pushing for a premature vote.

P.S what is an OMGUS vote?
This is the truth. 1st day lynches, unless someone comes out and says they are scum, are almost always random. Just because soemone hasnt talked is not a good lead for a lynch. Later in the game, yes, but so early, they probably are just not aware it has started.

well actually if I remember Cmckinney coming off as pushing for a vote, was common by him, but of course it's been a while.
Vote: Mandy
Eddie35: hi everyone
Serbia: YOU IDIOT! What is THAT supposed to be? Are you even TRYING to play this game?! Kill the idiot NOW please!
Skoffin wrote: So um.. er... I'll be honest, I don't know what the f*ck to do from here. Goddamnit chu.

OMGUS=Oh my god you suck
