Well ofcourse I can't xD But anyway, I spent my last turn reclaiming central US for obvious reasons, (I only got 3 armies that turn)

Just for shits and giggles, I have a question.
How is anyone supposed to learn any strategy, from people who don't have a good strategy?

I don't think anyone in that game has more than 1600 points

r u sure about that whats my score again cause im pretty sure im a sergent 1st class last i checked u had to have over 1600 points for that

it's been a while since i last posted, so i owe a few.

first of all though, to John - GTFO! We aren't hear to teach everyone. We are hear to learn as well. I would love to get any advice on this game.

I signed up as a player who always plays in cards games. I don't claim to be a pro at no-cards games. I wish people were contributing more b/c i think i would have learned a lot more so far.

Anyway, in regards to my strategy... I am trying to just chill out in french canada and build up my army base. I can ill afford to spread thin in any way at this point. I made that mistake already and paid dearly.

Where do I go next? How long do I wait? Any pros out there got a minute to throw me a bone here? Game 767989

does it really matter high or low ranked some players just have a run of bad luck sometimes like what i experienced recently. and its not like we think were the best of the best and were going to teach everyone on conquer club how to play the game we know thats not the case were just havin fun playin a game and running strategies back and forth to see what does and doesnt work and allow other players to strengthen their strategies in the process of picking up a few things they could possibly learn. i know im not the highest ranked player on conquer club but that doesnt mean im not a decent player. if u notice my rank isnt as high just cause i havent played as many games as u have. not only is my win percent 20% higher than urs my score isnt to far off so really if u dont think ull learn anything then simple solution dont visit this thread and by the way its also for better players to give advice so the people playing the game can improve as well. im sure when ive completed close to 1000 games my score will b closer to if not higher than urs so yeah im done with this message to u.

p.s. my score is usually more around 1750-1850 but like i said i had a bad luck streak and i had to have someone sit for me that lost me a lot of games

now for my strategy. this turn i decided to just build my forces and keep blue from coming after me by hitting his bonus

just took my turn. it was a tough one for me. i feel like i am inching closer to getting on the level playing field with kratos. not there yet though... plus pesky emperor is in now flanking my larger armies. i hope he isn't thinking of doing something really unstrategic right now.

i positioned my forts to prepare for a possible red strike. his own forts are getting larger in florida as i have made my way down the east coast.

yellow, keep at in in oregon. your shot is nearing soon.

yellow was bugging me so i broke his bonus along with blues so now my biggest threat is teal so i forted against him as best as i could

i decided to break everyones bonus to make me the complete dominant force and it worked so now that everyones bonus but mine is gone its just a matter of time until i finish the game so im slowly working on finishing things now

Even though it's too late to mention, all I was doing was forting. Not that it would have done me much good. Even though I started in a strong area, I never really got in a position to get bonuses and that inevitably led me to lose.

I came to this late, but it was really good to read through - any chance of running a rematch at some point?

yes there is a good chance of that but id like to let my number of games decline a little before i consider it

In ANY types of game, actually, ANY games, if keeping the weakest player alive is BENEFICIAL to you, it would be stupid to take him out.

In every games, taking out something beneficial for oyu is a bad idea,

Good to read - feel free to PM me if this ever does take off, I'd be happy to play and learn (I need all the help I can get right now!). Not sure how much use I'd be as an example mind you, except perhaps as a 'how not to'...
