I was recently at a restaurant/bar (we were watching the Masters) and we were outside just watching the match, we had finished eating, and a couple of gentlemen sat down next us and lit up cigars. I don't have an issue with smoking of any kind (I like a cigar now and then too), though I can understand health concerns, but this dumb bitch that a friend brought with him started coughing and hacking obnoxiously trying to make a point. It took a lot to not tell her to go the f*ck away. If you're going to be in or around a bar, especially outside, it seems to me you're going to have to deal with it. Anyhow, the passive-aggressive bullshit really got to me. Either move, ask them to put the cigars out, or, preferably, shut the f*ck up.
Request: if you are ever in a situation where someone's smoking is bothering you, either leave or politely ask them to stop. Many will stop or go elsewhere, but if you start hacking like an idiot, you deserve to be punched in the face.
