ok this really looks crap IMO.

1) the colors, your not playing on a board but on a monitor change the colors to fit that

2) the borders, it looks like you took an easy path and made the borders as easy as possible.

3) new zeeland, where is it????????? you put new guineau ther but zeeland not?

I think Colombia is saturated. Don't like that connection with that caribean island.

And I agree with the one that says that you should put New Zealand.

According to the Australian constitution New Zealand is not a country, but a state of Australia. Tasmania is also a state of Australia and isn't on this map.
Does it really matter? This map, like all of them isn't done to scale and neither should they be. The maps should be judged on there playability (is that even a word? lol).

I like the look of the map and hope to be able to play on it.

About New Zealand, i dont see the point in adding it. It wouldnt help the map at all, it would just be sitting there.

LP:

1- I dont think it really matters the style of the map to most people. They just want to be able to read play it well. Plus i want to keep it VERY different from the current Classic map graphics wise.

2- Um, what?

3- The original Classic map has New Guinea and not New Zealand, but i havent heard anyone complain about that. I dont see the point in putting NZ in, it wouldnt help the gameplay at all and it would mean taking out another territory and resizing the map.

Well, I cannot tell you for sure when it will come out, its still only in Map Ideas. Coleman said he would move it to the Main Foundry soon and from then on I have to hope for a lot of suggestions to keep the map moving forward!

Looks good. Would it be possible to switch the colors of Australia with North America to contrast more with Asia or just make Australia some other color? Just a thought.

I like the concept. I am not sure about the bonuses yet.
Plus the small map might have issues with some of those smaller territories.

But the graphics need a TON of work.

I don't see why NZ is vital but if so many wanted it maybe the Galapagos Islands could be eliminated since it does seem pretty crowded in the attacking lines on Columbia. You could still not allow a New Zealand to Argentina link. That would give Australia one more territory and South America one less so maybe changing the bonuses back to the way you had it would be in order. Both Australia and South America with 3.
