I would guess you are a Christian who is also into simple living and probably pacivism?

Don't take it too much to heart, though. The folks who set up this poll are not necessarily experts in all religions. In some cases, they may be going as much on public perception as internal realities. If you are curious.. check them out. Maybe it is a match????? :?

I think the second two in my list relate closer to what I was expecting to get. I grew up Baptist, but I have become a bit more liberal over time.

I may read up some on the Quakers, at least out of curiosity.

Apparently their is 35% truth in Baha'i thought. Who ever would have guessed that was possible?

You must now know that much about the Bahai. They accept that Christ was a prophet, just not the prophet, so of course there will some similarities. Thirty-five percent is not that much similarity, though.

No, I do know enough about it. Thats what I meant.....I am surprised it shows a 35% truth when compared to my faith. Then again their were only 20 questions. I think it is closer to 10% the same.

When you get down to it, most religions share the same basic core values. You either believe in one God, a few Gods or no God ..., believe or don't believe in forgiveness, something "after" death, etc. The Bahai actually share a lot with Christianity. The big differance, is, well a pretty BIG one ... namely they do not believe that Christ died for our sins. But as for percentages? Depends on whether you mean plain numbers of things that are the same or if you weight things by importance.

Does not matter much, really. I read somewhere that we share roughly 90% of our genes with horses.... yet, I don't think most of us have much trouble telling them apart

Thought I posted my results, but apparently not ... here they are:

There WAS a change. I changed one question (did not know you could pick more than one answer) and Baha'i went from somewhere in the nether regions to #3. I think this shows more about the designers of the quiz than anything else. A lot of questions were worded to "direct" answers. For example, I doubt my father or grandfather would have said they believe in honoring the environment. Yet, caring for the Earth was/is very much a part of them.

1. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (100%)
2. Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (98%)
3. Baha'i Faith (95%)
4. Eastern Orthodox (90%)
5. Roman Catholic (90%)
6. Seventh Day Adventist (90%)
7. Orthodox Judaism (88%)
