My mind is always messed up when somebody changes their avatar because avis are the easiest and fastest way to see who is who IMO but I decided that I need a fresher look

of course its been cancelled, i think we have all forgotten about the unwritten cc rule:

any tournament that involves hwhrhett must be abandoned before round 3 if hwhrhett is doing well enough to possibly win.

LOL, it's not cancelled! If I fail to answer some post in first several hours, that doesn't mean that I am not watching...
(Last several posts have been put between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. - considering my local time. What if I say that I was sleeping?)

We need just one more elimination to start semifinal round. Even if I am an organizer, I have no obligation to spend half of my armies just to make tournament faster!

hwhrhett, I can guarantee you - even if everyone except you and me abandons the tourney, we'll make a play off match. If you win that match - you're a tournament winner!

Yes, folks, you understand well - a semifinal round begins very soon (in a few days). But before that, there is an issue I'd like to discuss first - home ground maps.
It's normal to choose home map and keep it 'till the end. However, you all know that we had a Classic issue. I doubt that many people desire to play Classic Shapes again - I certainly don't!
So my suggestion is:

Why don't we let each player to change the home map if s/he wants?

Is anybody against it and why?

Let us discuss it 48-72 hours, before I make games for semifinals. Thank you.

P.S. There is also some trivia:
24 players have chosen home map and started the game. Only hwhrhett and Bigragooch managed to win! (And mkcummins still have a chance)
