The numbers to the side of each map are not changing when I run Map Rank.

Example:

Terminator still shows 12, but when I run Map rank on Terminator, it says 17 unique defeats.

And yes I have run a full map rank on the game finder page and bookmarked it. But still no change.

Can you first try uninstalling it including associated preferences and then reinstalling please?

In Firefox window go to Tools->Greasemonkey->Manage User Scripts like this:

Click on Manage User Script and you will see a box like this:

Check the Also uninstall Associated preferences box at the bottom.
Click on Map Rank GL.
Click on Uninstall.
Now come back to this thread and go to the first post and install again.

Ok, Map Rank GL is back ... again.

If you see any odd results to do with the new map changes then I suggest uninstalling associated preferences.
This is because the saved data will contain data for maps with different names. (e.g. Middle Earth which is now Centerscape).

Now that everything is in that easy XML list, could you add number for all the other settings? Like Spoils, Reinforcements, Tournament, etc.

Grab the unique kills for the other choosable settings. Even though there aren't medals for these settings, knowing whether I have more unique kills playing flat rate or escalating would be helpful in tournaments where the users pick their settings.

Hello chipv. I'v noticed a strange behavior with MRGL. My kill ratio switches between to greatly varying percentages (57 and 73) every time I run a full scan. I cannot get this to occur on anything other than my name so I assume it has to do with the currently logged in user. All other statistics remain the same aside for kill ratio. I have uninstalled associated preferences and reinstalled since the site change.

Other that that, this thing is still great.

It's a bug, now fixed, well spotted! Will be in next version.

1.0.3 is available. EDIT: 1.0.4 contains a minor fix for people who have 27 games medals.

Apart from a couple of bug fixes the main new feature is a comprehensive medal summary tab.
Head post has been update but here is the info anyway:

Medal Summary

Click on the Medal Tab to see this page.

This table shows all medals including contributions medals too.
Any contributions medal rows only show the number of medals acquired.

Medal Name - Name of medal.
Number of Medals - number of medals acquired. (1 for Bronze, 2 for Silver , 3 for Gold)
Defeats - current number of defeats. For crossmaps this is the number of crossmaps with >=5 defeats.
Next Medal - number of defeats required for next medal. For crossmaps this is the number of maps needed.
Maps - shows maps with most defeats for this medal (i.e. best map).
For crossmaps this shows maps closest to 5 unique defeats with the number of defeats in brackets.

The table is ordered by Next medal.

Fast Medal Links

All links on this page will open a game finder results page with waiting games you can choose to join that will help acquire that medal.
The links select the settings of medal + maps on that row.

For Optimal Medal Combinations, the links select settings best suited for multiple medals and opens a game finder waiting games results page.

It does this using the following algorithm (roughly):

1. Find any Game medals needed (e.g. Doubles)
2. Find any Crossmaps medals needed.
3. Find any Speed games needed.

If there are crossmaps medals then use those maps for the link.
Otherwise if there are speed medals then use those maps.
Otherwise use maps for the game medal if there are no speed games defeats.

I still have problems when limiting by specific tournaments, or by all tournaments. Gives a reply of no games found.

A couple of suggestions:

1) Is it possible to separate out the results of played-with and played-against - the game finder doesn't differentiate at present?

2) Is it possible to be able to filter the results by relative rank? - i.e. be able to set a max of min threshold - so I can see how players (in myself) fair against differently ranked opponents? (maybe something for cspare, but could there be a graph of win% and points vs relative rank?)

3) I understand why you lost the "winning when starting" stats - as they are only of interest to the top 1v1 aficianados - however seeing as you have written that code anyway, is there any chance you can include it as an option somewhere?

1. Yes. I like it.
2. I can do a chart for relative rank like the others?
3. I am trying to get this into the XML, I haven't forgotten.

The problem is - this data isn't in the player.xml that Map Rank now uses - to get this information then the script would have to load full logs of every game - which is slow (and server expensive).

Like Chip says - hopefully we can get this 1 line of logging restored to the XML.
