I don't trust or like Obama in particular, as I've said before I see him as a charming nonentity swayed almost entirely by other peoples perceptions like Tony Blair, but he's far and away a better choice than any administration containing Palin. Everything I read about her scares me a little more.

I'd much rather have America as the leading influence on the planet than China or Russia, and the next presidency will have a huge impact on whether or not that happens. If it's a Palin dominated White House I fear that an isolationist US will be hated and ignored, with appalling consequences for us all.

Then you should put your vote into the libertarian party. tell all your friends that feel the same way as you do. make it serious business to put that point in the minds of as many people as you can and make it a point to get people to think real hard about what they want their government to become in the next term. we need a less intrusive foreign policy, we need energy independence and we need border control. republicrats have our constitution basically in shreds. Its time to change things, but for real this time.

I don't trust Palin either...but I think people (others in the administration) will realize that she doesn't have a lot of substance and she won't be a powerful VP. I watched some interviews with her and I think she is a good example of how the system doesn't work - she is just a big talker who tries to make people like her. She is not a direct, honest person. But because it is the emotional, uninformed public that gets to place these people in power, she is where she is. The decision to put her in the running is the biggest concern I have with McCain...

It's interesting how the Israelis view Obama. He receives much support
