That day everyone was on edge. Accusations of who had killed "The Moderator" ran wild: first there was speculation about which town members were present, then people began to blame cena-rules, but were then driven to accuse spiesr, but were then ushered on to Stroop based on his somewhat suspicious behavior. Stroop plead and plead for his life, and by the end of the day he had convinced enough people to not lynch him. But there was still a thirst for blood, and when no other accusations arose, pmchugh and spiesr decided to take him aside and do the deed themselves. A flash of the knife and Stroop fell to his knees.

The others stood around staring, wide-eyed at the deed that had been done when a blood-curling scream rang through the crowd. It was Stroop's wife who began to cry, "Why would you do this to him!? He was just the town doctor! What did he ever do to you?"

The other began to console Stroop's wife while pmchugh and spiesr both sneaked out of the town square and hurried home.
