I agree with this. However, just because you two are lovers, doesn't mean one or both of you aren't mafia. It is entirely possible for one or both of you to be mafia.Nzen wrote: So, I invite the cop to check me or ace1217. The confirm will do us good.
No, never direct investigations. Especially to a NK-target if they are town-town. I will bit my lip on the whole cop investigation though unless someone really wants to hear more indepth about my views on it.AceArtemis wrote:I agree with this. Unless we find someone more suspicious to investigate, ace and nzen might be good choices for an investigation.

Right..Its Bolt wrote:
We should seriously consider mass character claiming today. There should be little that can be gained from a character claim in a theme game for both sides if it is a well balanced game in that department so it should not out any roles.

Seriously? So the roles simultaneously work with flavour and give a good indication of your role, and yet don't out any roles. If something relatively obscure like a lyncher can be determined from your role, cops etc will be just as obvious. Honestly, it's a truly terrible ideaIts Bolt wrote: What it will likely do though is force the lyncher to either claim a role that makes sense as lyncher...
Yeah I have to agree the logic on the character mass-claim is bad.icedagger wrote:Right..Its Bolt wrote:

Not anymore since I can safely say we are out of the random stage.militant wrote:And thats sufficent reason, is it?icedagger wrote:Vote mili as I haven't done so in a while
Its Bolt wrote:Swing and a miss on trying to make myself clear. I said CHARACTER claim not ROLE claim. That would be like ace just claiming to be Leo.
It is apparent that tied roles are tied through flavor, like we have Leo and Aires. Now by the same logic some role should be somewhat tied to ani. I wouldnt belive we have someone LFG as ani and then throw in someone from CAD as the lyncher. MM has already proven to be somewhat predictable in role relations and there is a way to hunt down an anti-town role from it.
From my role/flavor thing, I never even heard of the character I am before this game. After reading a few comics, what I does make sense, but it isnt necessarily the first guess I would of had for what I am. Also lots of people are confusing mass claim with mass character claim. People are also thinking that it will out all the PRs (somehow, I bet I could make a sufficent PR for any character if I knew what they all were) but who here though Aeris and Leo, lovers of course, by the same logic though it can out all the likely scum roles.
More like swing and a home run.icedagger wrote: Seriously? So the roles simultaneously work with flavour and give a good indication of your role, and yet don't out any roles. The person the lyncher tries to lynchNatewolfman wrote:whats a lynchee?
Oh come on. I don't read webcomics but surely there's always gonna be characters that are much more likely to be a vig/cop/RB or whatever than others. While you have a point about the lyncher probably being outed if he's honest (which he won't be) I don't think we have a setup where character claims will tell us who a lyncher is and nothing else. Its Bolt wrote:Now you are reaching. There are things that make sense as lyncher/lynchee combination and things that dont, the same things really cant do much to tell what is a PR and what isnt. I would greatly expect the lynchee/lyncher to be from the same comic, likely rivals too (Aeris lyncher Leo lynchee for example would of made sense). The same thing really cant be used to determine who the PRs are.
Seriously, there are protagonists in every strip that hypothetically could be a cop. How the hell does mafia determine which one makes the most sense? They dont, its not even guarenteed that the protagonists are town aligned or strong power roles. A character claim at worst will create some WIFOM for the mafia where they start trying to guess who is the right kill over what their role might be, instead of just killing the logical player.
Ani still is going to get vigged tonight though if we dont lynch the lyncher.
I read VGC, CAD and LFG on occasion and its hard to get any clear role guess on any character. Lovers is actually one of the last things I would of expected from Aeris/Leo tbh. If we force the lyncher to character claim though, they will either have to make an obscure name from the comic, or go for a different one. In each case we should be able to at least slightly determine who is lying about a name.icedagger wrote:Oh come on. Well I would agree with you but I'm in the same boat with my role. Aeris I believe has killed Leo on a few occasions, I don't think they are lovers. Its Bolt wrote:I read VGC, CAD and LFG on occasion and its hard to get any clear role guess on any character. Someone isnt reading my posts about ani close enough or is just really dense for still pushing my lynch. I think both.FloresDelMal wrote:why bolt is still far away from L-1??? flood us 400 times with the same bad idea, doesnt make it less bad than the first time, this is so ridiculous that make my eyes hurt, i dont see a single reason for allow bolt get away with his circular logic
