Don't worry, it's not getting abandoned. ;) The last matchup finished today, I'm just gonna call the Rail Europe since cowboyz only has 2 armies left. :P

Joe B. wins round 5 in a very close match against SirSebstar, 4 games to 3.
Won Conquer 4, Poker Club, High Seas and Lower Egypt.
SirSebstar wins Galapagos, The Citadel and Luxemborg.

Do you need the game #'s ?

All well played games. I had early leads in Galapagos and Luxemborg and thought I had them. Dice and SirS turned on me though.
Took big chances in Egypt early in the game and it paid off. High Seas was our last game and it could have went either way. We both got our share of crap dice but his were crappier when it counted.

I believe SirS said he had not lost a game in this tourney? You sent me your finest and I sent him home. Who's next?

After round 5, 16 players left ? Is there anywhere that those players are listed ? Or who is left in our bracket ?

Its all in here Joe, and thanks man, you played wonderfull. It could have gone either way, we were closely matched. Me never having played 1 of the maps before and a few others not enough did play a part, but the dice were your kings when it got counting. Still, i scared you a lot...lol hope you win

Just waiting on TheFuzz/pempi to finish up.

And Joe: SirSebstar gave you the right link - that is the bracket, updated as of a few minutes ago. ;)

Looks like Pempi will take the final game unless TheFuzz gets real lucky.
4 players left in our bracket, Ironwood has the best record at 18-5
Jackin_u_up 17-6
Joe B. 16-7
Pempi 15-8 (If he wins last game).
TheFuzz would also end up at 15-8 if he pulls out a miracle.

SirSebstar wasn't lying, he was undefeated before we played and with 3 wins he still has/had the best record at 19-4
Undefeated through 16 games is pretty impressive. That can't be luck, can it ?

Joe B. wins round 6 against Pempi. Very good match, 5 games to 4. He may have out played me. The grudge match (prison) I got the decent drop along with 1st turn. Decent dice gave me the gradual victory.

Looks like Jackin_u_up is about to win his match also at 5 to 4.

If he's ready, I'm ready.

Gilligan, I tried to see how the other 3 divisions are doing and it doesn't look like they are anywhere near as far along as we are. Can you update us?

Thanks, Joe B.

Looks like I may pull off a miracle. Jackin_u_up is about to win his 5th (5-5), but I'm ahead in the rubber match (Holy Roman Empire).
JUU went 1st in 8 of 11 and kicked my ass good in that 1st turn. My 1st turn was a disaster and I really thought I had no chance after that. Dice turned on him and mine got hot in the next few turns, so I got lucky in a few more games.
In our last good match I just got a nice turn and unless he gets lucky real fast and my luck goes to shit, I should win.
The way our dice have went back and forth though, I can't count on anything yet.

Joe B. takes it 6-5. Very good match, won a few I shouldn't and lost a few I shouldn't have.

Jackin_u_up was a worthy opponent, as were Pempi and Sirsebstar. Think I won all three matches on the last game, so I'm really lucky to be here.

Let me know when the next opponent is ready in our semi-finals.

Joe B. Congrats on your victory and good luck the rest of the way.
It was a fun match.
Thanks Gilligan for putting on this EPIC tourney.
It was a privilege to play vs. so many good players.
