Well, it depends on what type of result he got for nagerous. I'm under the assumption that he only gets "successful" results for targeting someone with an item, and anyone else gets "no success". If this is the case, wouldn't targeting a townie without an item return the same result as mafia? If so, we're just telling mafia who does and who doesn't have items.
