Yeah because the only ones that knew the real line were Mark Hamill and George Lucas. They were trying to aviod a leak of that wonderful surprise.

actually it was George Lucas and James Earl Jones because he had to record the line.... otherwise he was the only one..... pretty sure I remember Hammil saying he didn't find out until the premier on screen.

Like remember page 17? Oh, those were good times...boy, some of the crazy things we did back then...if only we could recapture that time... **adjusts position in chair, becomes keenly aware of arthritis and gout in doing so [homage to Andy]**

Are we quoting Top Gun now? I've been researching all my Not Without My Daughter quotes and we skipped right through it to a new movie. All that rewinding and transcribing for nothing. Oh well. But that Sally Field is just delightful.
Let me know if you want a doubles game as a warm-up for the tourney, Smitty-o. I've got four empty spaces so I could study for exams...

What about your running, Smithy? I've got this whole chariots-of-fire notion of you with your long flowing mullet jouncing in the wind as you run along the beach at low tide. Isn't that something to live for? Or maybe it's only something to live for if Vangelis is playing in the background.
