Jailer in my games has always been doc + roleblock.

As far as order of operations when it comes to night actions

1. Drive/Commute/Hide
2. Roleblock/Jail/action modifying roles.
3. All other roles.

So lets say a joat could jail and kill, and a busdrive made them jail themselves. The jail would make them immune to kills and stop their kill or any other action coming from the joat.

Adding to the mass claim:

I'm Iriekahn Dagarkin, a Good/Neutral Dwarf Fighter with a Bodyguard role i.e. I target someone, and if that player is targeted as a kill, I take his place.

N1 I didn't guard anyone; N2 I guarded gregwolf who was endgamed (which is why I never realised whether or not I was supposed to have been blocked); N3 I didn't guard anyone.

I was also told in my PM that I had a brother, Seakas Dagarkin (now known to be Commander9), that was adventuring. Unlike the MoB-saf sibling relationship, I was given no further information other than his name. Upon further probing, edoc did acknowledge that I could assume my brother was the same race as me (Dwarf), but would reveal nothing more.

Summary of claims so far:
Summary
Roles/Claims
1. MoB Deadly ~ Ravaonna Swordhand ~ JOAT ~ Neutral/Chaotic Half Elf Ranger
  • 2 Bullet Proof Vests, 1 Nightkil, 1 Track, 1 investigate, mason with safariguy5

    N1 no action
    N2 BP vest
    N3 killed DoomYoshi
2. The Weird One (skillful) ~ Fhaatra Loreweaver ~ Vigilante(?) ~ Good/Lawful Pointy-Eared Wizard

  • N1: gregwolf
    N2: TFO
    N3: DoomYoshi
4. TheForgivenOne ~ Xavlannan Shortankard ~ Busdriver ~ Neutral/Neutral Halfling Bard
  • If manages to drive an action(s), will learn what ONE of the action was, but not who it was on
N1 drove Dazza and Rishaed (Blocked)
N2 drove himself and Anam (Ana was jailed by aage, which drove onto me, alas, blocked)
N3 drove himself and Spiesr, no results.
5. spiesr (dazza) ~ Victor Battlefate ~ JOAT w/ Spells ~ Neutral/Lawful Half-Dragon Sorcerer
  • Night 1 he used Read Magic on Aage, which tells me if he is a mage. (He wasn't.)
Night 2 No action was taken.
Night 3 I used Magic Circle against Chaos on Epitaph, which tells me if he was Chaotic. (He isn't.)
6. anamainiacks ~ Iriekahn Dagarkin ~ Bodyguard ~ Good/Neutral Dwarf Fighter

      10. DoomYoshi ~ Davmorn Loyalar ~ Daykiller ~ Good/Lawful Human Paladin - NKed N3
      11. aage ~ Elben Songsteel ~ Jailkeeper ~ Good/Neutral Goliath Fighter - Jailed TFO N1, an N2 - NKed N3
I have a question for TFO: how did you know you were roleblocked on N1? You wouldn't have known for sure whether an action was performed on either rishaed or dazza that should've been bus driven, right?

I also find it interesting that Stubbs and spiesr/dazza are both Sorcerers, but the way their roles work are pretty different - Stubbs had to prepare spells for future use, spiesr selects 1 to use immediately from a given list; Stubbs' spells seemed like usual mafia actions, spiesr's are entirely related to flavour, alignment and character.
StubbsKVM wrote:The first 4 days, I get to choose a spell that I can prepare to use on any future night.
I have a list of spells I can choose from every day.

So I can prepare a spell during the day, use it during the night. That's how it works.

These spells have a pretty big variety, and the day 4 spells are more powerful then the day 1 spells.
StubbsKVM wrote:There's a lot of stuff that doesnt add up with the D&D flavor.

I have "healing" spells too, for example.

      On day 1, I prepared a 1-shot doc spell, which I haven't used.
      On day 2, I prepared a 1-shot bulletproof spell.

Do what you want. You'll be losing a powerful allie if you decide to lynch me.

As far I can tell my role works just like Stubbs' did. Each Day phase I can choose one of 3 spells to learn. I can use that spell (once) on any Night after that. So Day 1 Dazza learned Read Magic which he chose to use Night 1, Day 2 he learned something else which has not been used yet, Day 3 he learn Magic Circle against Chaos which I chose to use Night 3.
This appear to be just like what Stubbs claimed, with some potential differences in the spells available.

I have the list of spell choices for Days 1 through 4. If people other than yourself want me to share I could do so.

So were you given a new list to start the day, or did edoc give you a list of choices used for days 1-4?

The choices for each Day appear to be part of the role PM.
Like: "You can learn one spell a Day blah blah your spell choices for each day are":
      Day 1: A, B, C
      Day 2: E, F, G
      Day 3: Q, R, S
      Day 4: X, Y, Z

As for why edocsil decided to provide all spell choices in the PM instead of revealing them one day at a time I do not know.

      Sure thing.
      Day 1:
      Acid Splash (Delayed kill)
Read Magic (Tells if target player is a mage)
      Mending (Doctor)

      Day 3:
Magic Circle against Chaos (Tells if target player is chaotic)
Whispering Wind (Can send a PM to a player)
Blur (Next kill attempt by target fails)

I really have no idea why Dazza chose Read Magic for Day 1 since it seems like the weakest of the three...

We're currently missing Rodion and Strike Wolf. In particular, I'd like to hear from Rodion. His last post in this thread [page 51]:
Rodion wrote:I reckon there should be 2 remaining scum, since Rishaed's janitor flip probably means the ???s were townies.

I still think the biggest scumtell came from the way Sniper's slot (now TWO's) motivated his Stubbs vote. Considering that was outright lying, the only reason I threw my weight on Rishaed's wagon was to get 2 suspicious players out in 1 day because I was under the impression the modkill was happening.

Anyway, I'm up for a massclaim. Popcorn?
Strike wolf's last was just pointing out potential scum. They both went silent as soon as the mass claims started. This is particularly incriminating for Rodion because he was requesting just that.

Anyway, that's my two cents, for the moment.

Hmm, I thought that Paladins were only Lawful Good, not Neutral. A few minutes of research seems to back this up. Vote Strike Wolf until this inconsistency is explained.
