There are only 151 pokemon the rest are all lies.
QFT, and sometimes i dont even count Mew... It was a "cheat" of sorts in the games to get him and he was completely unknown until the movie... Although i played the Silver version, i just couldnt keep up with all the changes they kept making. The old Keep It Simple Stupid pertains to Pokemon...
In all honesty I played gold and liked it, but it just wasnt the same. I took red with me on my holiday recently, brilliant fun for the long trains! I also got Mew this time since someone knew the cheat, I never even seen mew as a kid. I remember all the rumours though about surfing round the SS anne and stuff lol.

I like all of the Pokemon games, however I don't think the 4th gen or 3rd gen have as much playability as the first ones do.
Totally agree. Although I feel like the 3rd gen ones are the hardest. I was always under leveled for gym leader fights and there was a bunch of crap

The 2nd gen was my favorite, but I REALLY like the 4th gen pokemon. The remakes of the original Gold and Silver games pretty much made my life complete.

Really after Crystal, I just stopped with it. Too many damn new Pokemon kept coming out. I then entered my "Yu-Gi-Oh!" phase for a short time (still have some of those cards somewhere) and then just stopped with the card games and really haven't played my Gameboy in years. I'm not even quite sure what I did with my Pokemon games.

It's such a stupid game, but hard to stop playing.
For awhile I was in love with Pokemon Stadium for N64, the only problem being i never had the gaming console. Had to beg people who had N64 to let me play...

I remember the original Pokemon Stadium. It was not quite as fun as playing on Gameboy. The only real plus to it was that you could see everything in 3-D.
I put the most time into the 3rd gen, even though I think I had more fun with gold and silver. I'm thinking about completing the pokedex for the 4th gen in anticipation for the 5th, but I don't know when I"ll get the motivation to get 100+ more guys. I loved pokemon stadium and snap, and I own most of the games.

Completing the 4th gen must be annoying, I'll just play Soul Silver, when I actually decide to play it :3 x3

It will be, since they added so many random and specific ways that they evolve, and a lot of things are time consuming. On a good note, I have 385 on my firered, so I can get a complete dex relatively quickly on that aspect, and I have friends that can help too.

My problem was that I didn't own a DS until this last summer, so my addiction to pokemon wore off before I had a chance to really own the 4th gen. For AOG, if I saw a picture of them I could probably name all the first 386, and a chunk of the 4th gen.
