My personal record (when at the heights/depths of alcohol abuse) was 52 drinks in one night. 20+ drinks a day was not unusual, starting with a Pabst Blue Ribbon around 10:00 a.m., moving to Maker's Mark shots about 2:00 p.m. with the beer, and then humming straight along until closing time at the bar with beer+shots. One break for something to eat and perhaps some chemical uplifting. Did that for almost a decade. Best of times, worst of times.

The 52 drink record only lasted about 3 weeks at my bar until my best friend at the time hit 70 drinks in a day. We would drink pitchers of "Sleezewater", basically pitchers of long island ice teas, but tripled on the shots, and with strawberry daiquri mix. Each pitcher was equivalent of 15 shots or so.

over the last 4 days, my wife and i have polished off 3 1/2 litres of Vodka and 31 cans of Strongbow cider(440ml cans) and i have had 4 pints of Strongbow in the pub today. that is a usual weekend. we use to drink 6 days a week.

There are probably only 3 members there that I still like - daz, firthy and narky, but the rest of them can go f*ck themselves.

Never did like the whole idea anyway, there was only ever supposed to be an elite, tight-knot of 6 or 7 of us, but beyond my control and volitions, the group grew to a bloated amount, that never quite contained itself...never was doin in the right way, and as every PC knows, I was fucking against it all - all of the expansion, but eh - lesson learned, let any fucker in, like NickBoring and you're pretty much fucked....

So please accept this as my resignation.

The group has become something that I wish to have no part of.
