No but it was such a dangerous play. Idk...DiM wrote:Army of GOD wrote:That should be a red
both neymar and thiago silva should have gotten a red, but they were spared. do you really think a brazilian player will get a red card? especially when the score is tied?

Like I said, they were shattered form pressing the entire match... going forward in numbers towards the end would have been suicide. Their plan was clearly to sit back and break on the counter at the end when they didn't have the legs, which as you agree almost won the game for them.Serbia wrote:Chile did have the best chance, I don't deny that. Calm your Irish temper dude. Chile also wasn't going forward in numbers. Chile was sitting back. Ian Darke even said they were playing for penalties, so shut up, trevie.trevor33 wrote:What a game of football... best so far for me. Sooooo close for Chile, watched a lot of the game standing up and my throat is a little sore now, need a couple of hours break for Colombia.
They weren't playing for pens, Chile were done after the first half of extra time, they just didn't have anything left to throw forward, Brazil would have killed them on the break. But who had the best chance in extra time? Chile, so shut up Serbia.
Bollocks.
It's Colombia.pretender77 wrote:I don't know about yall...but the two teams I really wouldn't wanna face right now are Netherlands and Columbia.
Germany has no defense at all.
Belgium..as usual is doing a fantastic job of underachieving. GO USA
upset watch...I think Nigeria beats france.
sorry betiko
Not a great strategy for showing confidence in your players.Serbia wrote: Ian Darke even said they were playing for penalties
Why is the definition of puto in Spanish while the rest is English?nietzsche wrote:

Ridiculous.. Brazilians are like give a green light to kung fu any opponent..DiM wrote:Army of GOD wrote:That should be a red

I want Mexico to win and I think odds are Mexico 65% Holland 35%.nietzsche wrote:Mexico vs Holland, who do you want to win and who do you think will win?
So you think the team that backed into qualifying for the World Cup is going to be the favorite over the team that dismantled the alleged number 1 ranked team in the world?nietzsche wrote:I want Mexico to win and I think odds are Mexico 65% Holland 35%.nietzsche wrote:Mexico vs Holland, who do you want to win and who do you think will win?
The Mexican team that struggled to qualify to the WC is not the same team we're seeing now. Different coach, different strategy, many different players. So yes, I'm saying that Mexico will win tomorrow and there will be no doubt.Army of GOD wrote:So you think the team that backed into qualifying for the World Cup is going to be the favorite over the team that dismantled the alleged number 1 ranked team in the world?nietzsche wrote:I want Mexico to win and I think odds are Mexico 65% Holland 35%.nietzsche wrote:Mexico vs Holland, who do you want to win and who do you think will win?
I was thinking the exact same thing... will be interesting to see who FIFA appoint, anyone outside of Europe with strong CL experience and Colombia are screwed. As a tema the only way Brazil can fairly beat Colombia is by Neymar running at Yepes which would probably involve getting him sent off for a couple of yellows.nietzsche wrote:As I see it a lot of people dont like Brazil. Me neither. This Brazil is an insult to the tradition of jogo bonito. I too was rooting for Chile and I think we missed a chance of seeing Brazil eliminated. I fear that with the criticism of Felipao towards the referee, we will see a robbery against Colombia.
This and Brazil vs Chile were the two games that I was looking forward to most in the second round... could be in for more extra time. Think Holland will just edge it in the end, they just have a bit more quality going forward. Hope Mexico prove me wrong though.nietzsche wrote:The Mexican team that struggled to qualify to the WC is not the same team we're seeing now. I don't dislike brazil at all. In fact, I kind of like all south american teams this year, with a preference for colombia. James Rodriguez, best player of the world cup so far, and he plays in the French league (normally with falcao... too bad)! :pnietzsche wrote:As I see it a lot of people dont like Brazil. Me neither. I want the Dutch to win, and I think they will. I have picked Mexico in my family pool though.nietzsche wrote:Mexico vs Holland, who do you want to win and who do you think will win?
