what I also find strange is the fact that our claimed doc here wasn't taken instead of sentinel, heck there's a gold mine of great claimed pro-town roles here, why take the watcher? (unless they are the only one who can be trusted enough to confirm who's scum today.)

the logic is there. Nag gets accused by a cop. Cop is 100% role confirmed. Nag throws a fit and says he's taking his toys and going home, he doesn't want to play anymore. Later comes back w/ the line of defense that is sure to out the real Jack when s/he counter-claims (some of us ak Jack to stay hidden a bit longer to not fall into the trap). We now have confirmation that the cop is getting correct results as LSU is confirmed town like we said yesterday.

The only reason to NOT vote Nag is if you are scum or if another cop got a different result. As conventional wisdom goes the next step is to lynch the cops "not town" target to further confirm the role. I don't think Nag is Jack, I never have. He shouldn't be allowed to slip the noose yet another day

I believe this only happens when we've found scum. If so we should vote tests next time to get some info out of them, we'll already know they are scum just by being given the option. at that point we can learn valuable info that only the scum would vote lynch to prevent us from getting

I think that if someone had the role of Jack, and someone else claimed they were Jack, they would have spoken up.

I think if they did that, then they'd be killed the next night. It's not worth losing our doc (who I don't think can protect himself), just to confirm one scum, when we can be sure that nag is scum just for his actions.

Another thing I remember that makes me almsot sure nag is scum: day 1, nag hadn't done anything the least bit scummy. Yet william18 offered him up as a typical "lynch him, he's scum, then you'll trust me." How would will be so sure? It seems pretty clear that william was trying to sacrifice one of his guys to save himself.

I think the lynch/tests thing was unique to Ben's role. There was a whole story arc where the survivors kept Ben (they thought his name was "Henry") hostage for a while and tortured him, until he escaped.

You can never be 'sure' someone is scum because of their actions, however I do believe that Jack probably is hiding so that they cant be Nk'ed. If it were me I would claim, we get one scum and the doc bites a bullet for the good of the town I think it is a worthy trade, with probably 4 mafia and the godfather already down it would hurt scum. But at any rate he has looked very suspicious and I recognise that whoever is Jack is likely to be hiding.

Well, sentinel could disprove anyone who didn't have night action who claimed to have a night action, so if Nag was lying then obviously Sentinel would be a huge threat, but on the other hand, if Nag is telling the truth then the Others might know that todays disappearance would incriminate the tracked, causing us to lynch the doc.
I'm still unsure about this and I'll probably end up wimping out and changing my vote again, but if it will out the scum for sure then

After going back through, I began to pick up on some things.

Great another scum, trying to get me lynched. I know I'm a powerful role but seriously have scum got some like team of armies all against me trying to kill me or something? I thought I had enough of this when william pulled that stupid ass stunt the day before, I think scum may have a WC involving getting me lynched or something but I can't speculate for certain what the truth is. But then Cena posts his PM in the thread, which makes everyone, (including Nag) mad.

Cena has claimed cop, and his role claim using his PM has confirmed this, so Nag knows that he is all but screwed here

But then all the sudden PMC birngs up the point that Cena could be insane, and Nag instantly springs back to life, claiming he is Jack, a doctor.

And thus, nobody counter claims against Nag, making people think that it could be a true claim.


But then Sentinel comes and says that he is a tracker, and claims that Nag never visited Selin last night, as Nag had claimed before.

I remember that just as we were about to lynch will, he had claimed cop, and had said that his investigations had showed that Nagerous was scum. And considering that william would have known who all the scum was, he might have decided to give Nag, a fellow scum member up so that he could appear cop. Why else would he have chosen Nag? He hadn't done anything suspicious. I'm thinking that william picked him because he knew that if they lynched Nag, he would be accepted as a cop.

I'm starting to believe in this more and more as I read through this.

So in conclusion, the options left are

1. Nag is scum, William tried to throw Nag under the bus in order to save himself. The real Jack is hiding and is refusing to reveal his identity
2. Nag is town. Cena is scum. William just chose a random person in hopes of staying alive 4 a cop investigation (He was the Godfather, and thus would have appeared innocent) Nag is Jack as he claimed.

Sure... I followed the show. The survivors held Ben captive and questioned him. There may be other reasons, but that is all I am saying. You can't argue with the show!

This makes me still slightly suspicious of the boat people, you may be town but im certain you have different win conditions than the rest of us. If he says you cant argue with the show then they dont want whats best for the plane crash survivors. Possibly death millers, have you ever heard of a group of 4 or 5 (probably) pro town masons that have power roles? it would make the game too easy for town to win.

As for nag thats pretty compelling evidence cmc, i believe option 1 my vote stays where it is. I highly doubt cena is scum, considering we knowfor a fact he is desmond who is not in the slightest scummy.
