how many double losses in a row have you had on dice?

Well I just had an army of 30 attacking an army of 6 and I had 8 double losses in a row that is 16 armies and I was looking at a 14-6 battle now with my head just spinning, so I made a comment saying whoa etc.. then I got knocked back down to 6-4 by the time I mad my next comment and I said watch me not even beat it. well I won with 3 armies to spare.

I heard there was a pluggin etc that shows your dice rolls, I was wondering what do you people do when you are on your 6th double loss in a row? just keep rolling to see how stupid this game can get at times? Who has the record for double losses rolled in a row? surely we are getting into odds in the trillions to one odds of happening on a so called random dice throw.

What do you people do? stand up and do the Hokey Pokey for luck or just say oh my God or what? Maybe reboot the PC and threaten it vaugely if it dosent start acting up? Because just this specific game I rolled at least 4 double losses in a row like 10-15 times but that one time wow 8 in a row followed by a few more.

Lol just call this the night of double losses Just about every attack I try on a new territory starts of as a double loss. I think tonight I will have to stopp atacking all together, I mean this is getting bad at least 5 times more ferquent than usual. And using auto attack..... I lost 4 to 1 doing it that way insane..

On a side note Is there a way to go to a past game and use a plugin etc or something and see the dice rolls or do you have to have the plugin running etc while playing?

while playing 3 different games i have had a string of 13 double losses (this was after i first was using dice analyzer... got a little above 18% chance of opponent getting a 6, and over 17% of myself getting a 1, a 2, or a 3...)

ya i had a terrible bout of randomness and since then everything has evened out except opponents rolling a 6 on me is 17.46% out of 11560 dice thrown :D

I have had some redemption from the dice evening back out... today i autoed a 57 stack guys with 24 and it ended 8v3... still lost the game due to a double sided war, but i sure was feeling good about that one :D

Ten. It was over 3 turns. I attacked same ter from same spot. I lost 0-10 redeployed next turn, 0-6, and the next, 0-4. It was in the fog and the guy didn't even know I was attacking him so he kept forting away. But by the fourth he forted away to 1 and I actually was able to capture it. Won the game tho.

I only remember at the start of games, I had 8 double losses in a row 3 times (and 2 of those games started at the same time). I probably have had worse ones, but I can't remember them.

There have been 2 instances of bad dice for me.

One, was over the course of a day where i lost 3 8 player escalating games based on awful dice where i would attack a stack vs stack and lose ridiculous amount of armies 2 at a time. I don't remember the exact numbers but I was 90%+ to take out an opponent and then have good odds to sweep the board in all 3 which would be like 400 points or so won.

Two, was a one on one manual freestyle game where i had held south America and was getting 7 armies per round, while my opponent was only getting 4 armies per round (for the majority of the rounds) every round we would both start our turns and he would attack me not losing a single army. Then i would have to attack back and i would lose armies. On time he attacked 2 2's with 4 total armies (15% odds to capture) and he didn't lose an army. Eventually he won the game which was awful because he though that it was a good game when in fact i had received an extra 30 armies or so over the course of the first 10 rounds of the game and still lost because of his amazing dice. (I understand this is not bad attacking but over the course of rounds 2-6ish he never lost an army when attacking me and 6-10 he had well above average dice) Game 5962295 (with regards the the suspicion of cheating i actually asked one of the mods and they said it wasn't possible so i removed is foe although my anger is still present)

Now i understand that dice do balance over time so i must tell you about when i was in a 2 vs 2 game and it was a critical point, I had taken a bonus and the opponent hat a 15 stack that would have good odds to break my bonus. Next to his 15 stack i had a 5 stack so i decided to try to knock it down so he would be less likely to break my bonus. I then proceeded to kill all 15 of his armies only losing 1 so the dice do balance out over time. Game 5754020

Not in CC, but I still remember probably my worst dice luck ever playing Risk. My family typically plays assassin where everyone gets a target to kill. I just turned in a set...had my target dominated. I got down to his very last country...A single man standing between me and victory. Feeling confident as my force still had 8 armies left to take down this lone solider...Needless to say I lost 7 consecutive rolls and the game...

1v7

It was for a kill so I used the 3 as well. That's 9 straight.

Did a test on some games about 18 months ago (not long after joining) to see if the noises i was hearing really was an interface problem; stopped counting after 100 double losses. Obviously, lost a ton of games with that experiment, but learned what settings my puter won't handle

Well, I must say that double losses occur too frequently in my opinion. I just had it with 5 double losses, and this was only attacking with 16 versus 15, too much in my opinion. I also played the boardgame Sunday night, and the attacker won a lot more than the defender. So I think it is fairly unbalanced. I had multiple instances where I had at least 4 double losses. But mostly I continue to attack otherwise you lose anyway, you need the territory but I think it is a bit overdone, heroic defense etc.

People remember their losses much more than their lucky streaks.

(So far I have been lucky when needed, unlucky when it didn't matter as much)

8 I think. That was a 20 v 7. Took me down to 4 v 7. How demoralising.
