Why is cereal so addictive to us? What do they put in it that is just so good? I ponder these questions everytime i have to go back for another bowl of it. Well, whats your favorite cereal. What passionate bowl of loveing goodness do you wake up to in the morning. What magical pot of satisfaction could call your name (at anytime of the day with its sweet sounding, soothing, and lucious zeal), making you beg for just a few seconds of taste. POST PICTURES !

Lucky Charms. Honey Nut Cheerios are a close second.

It used to be Cinnamon Toast Crunch, but they changed the cereal so it's got so much sugar in it now, there's a 1/4 inch of sugar at the bottom of the bowl when you get done. I like sugar, but that's just gross.

Thats almost my top 5, I'll probably have Jordans Country Crisp in at #2 though.

In the UK these are called "Frosties", but they have the same Tony The Tiger character.

This sort of sums it up. A thread asking what's your favourite cereal gets to 2 pages before a thread investigating the financial intricacies of Investment banking which brings down the whole economy of the western world.


Of course, cereals are easy to discuss. "I like frosties" is so much easier than investigating why the banks have had to be bailed out with mine and your money.

So, you gonna spend your whole life trying to bring down the billionaires? Can't you find a minute to reflect upon those golden childhood memories.....

Going to the grocery store and passing up all the vegetables, the canned food aisle. You know you are waiting for the chip aisle in the end, and you'll hit mom with your second and final "Can we get this please please please mom I'll take the garbage out" But first comes the cereal aisle. It looks like it goes down for a mile, and for a moment, the colorful cereal boxes pop out like HD under the flourescent eco-friendly corporate lighting model. So many to choose from. I might have to walk all the way down and look at every box, just to make sure I'm not missing something really good, or perhaps had forgotten about another kind of cereal that I tried at a friend's house at 2am munchied out. Now it's time to go back and choose, between smores, reeses, frosted flakes, some kind of granola/almond/banana combo, and lucky charms. Oh what the hell, BUY ONE OF EACH!!!!! It's America!! ARG BWARG GRAWL GRAWL
