is there a way a can check how many more defeats i need to get medals in fog, manual, assassin, etc

You've been on the forums this long and still don't know how to use the search function?
There's a script in the Plugins forum called Map Rank.

You run it and click the medals button. It's not that hard. You could also read the instructions in its thread.
