anyone else excited about this? i want to take it for a test drive when a stable version comes out. i heard that your computer will only take like 7-10 sec to boot up

I don't have a netbook so I prob. won't use it. Besides, I want to play games, type documents, access files, etc. when I don't have Internet access (I don't think you can on COS). I rarely need to reboot my laptop so the startup time isn't much of an issue.

But if I ever find a use for it then I'll definitely give it a spin.

I wonder if they'll upload all your information, nothing too personal, just what you watch, what you click on, and so on.

they're already doing that lol (i have the google droid ) i know a lot of people that only use their netbooks to get online. i dont need all the extra crap that windows put on you computer.

If 45 seconds (which is about how long my computer takes to boot up [I don't even boot it up that often, I just put it to sleep and then it's awake in 5 seconds]) is too long for someone to wait, then I've lost all faith in humanity.

Hey Alex, Ashamed to say I didn't know about this until I accidentally found you here on CC. The demo seems to have been around for a bit, wonder when it will be complete. Hmm? My only concern is that I find Google to be less than an honorable institution... much like Microsoft (grin). Thanks for the info.
