Conquer Club

I'm not sure if anybody has thought about this, but why not have a map of the land of Azeroth, or possibly the Outlands too.
Thoughts?

To do it, you would have to secure licensing from Blizzard Entertainment, as WoW is copyrighted by them. Otherwise, we'd be making an illegal map. If you can get that, then a map might move forward on this.

Alright, so how does one obtain licensing then?

World of make a buck isnt going to give you that man...

Just make a map.. change all the names up, call it world of Awakened_throne

I dont think there are even that many nerds here that speak your WoW language... So I think you can just change all the names and make it cool.

There is a LoTR map here somewhere, and I promise you ms Tolkein did not give them the rights to the map, they just changed the names.

There is a Midkemia map (books of Raymond E. Feist) as well, it's called "Midkemdil"

im sorry this might make me sound stupid but what map is Lotr???? Ive never thought of that.

i thought there use to be one.. maybe i was wrong.. Im pretty sure we had one.. :S maybe im thinking of midkimel.. but i thought they called the map middle earth and everything for a while.. maybe Im going crazy

I thought Midgard used to be "Middle Earth" and got changed the same time as classic. Could be wrong.
