nuclear games and avoiding to get those nuke spoils

Hey all,

I'm in this game 1 vs 1 and we're in the critical stages of the game (well I'm bound to lose I think but that's another issue lol) and I noticed my opponent has 4 spoils

Now he started his turn, attacked, did all his reinforcements and now does not end his turn - I have found that if your time runs out you do not get the spoils you should. In standard spoils this is negative for you, but with nuclear spoils could be a plus if your cards would have you nuke important stashes you have yourself in strategic places.

So, with this in mind, if a player intentionally does not finish his turn (which I think happened here) is that considered cheating?

I'd like to know what you guys think (maybe this belongs in the cheating reports thread more, but obviously this would be a hard one to prove)

thanks and regards

Currently it is not considered cheating, but it is frowned upon by most players. Give a bad rating & foe.

A legal strategy to avoid having to cash a possibly detrimental set. As above, very much frowned upon, but is a useful strategy, for unlimited forts especially!

Fight fire with fire, my friend! ;)

It sure as hell is annoying. Just go through with it, people have complained about this before to no avail.

If they do it, you do it

if they don't do it, you don't do it

The exact same thing happened to me - with a player who will rename nameless but is well known - and I chalked it up to cheap tactics.

I don't like to foe normally, but I seriously considered it that time .... it's really cheap to play like that and SHOULD BE considered a form of cheating imo.

cheers guys, currently in another one of those games... he even admitted he didn't want to end his turn to avoid nuclear spoils evenwhen I asked he could end the turn so I could have a go before going to bed, how lame!
