Any opinions on Quebec? Is Quebec training terrorists? I don't understand the whole Quebec thing. Are they a separate country from the rest of Canada? If Canada goes to war with Quebec, how would the United States fall into it? And are all the Canadian police women this smoking hot?

No, they are part of Canada. Just another province like Ontario or Alberta, but they have pushed for independence in the past, and there are probably still factions that still want independence today.

If Canada goes to war with Quebec, how would the United States fall into it?

Bison has got it right. Mostly, separatist/sovereigntist parties are still a major force in Quebec but independence isn't really a popular idea anymore.

As to the ladies in Quebec quite a few of them are pretty darn sexy.

I live in Eastern Canada and if Quebec separates, it will reduce my drive to Toronto by 8 hours.

In answer to the OP, Quebec is full of (1) an oppressed people yearning for liberation and the enjoyment of the basic right of national self-determination, (2) heroic freedom fighters.

Was excited to hear the news that the Quebecois may be awakening again in a spirit of national solidarity to unchain the shackles of slavery that have bound them for so long.

The problem is... Liberation from what. Canada is pretty nice (almost as good as the ol' USA)... except for the weather (but we're working on that for them here in ht US.. Driving our SUV's and all).

Anyway... In this case of "liberation" it would most likely be a case of "out of the frying pan and into the fire". I don't see an independent Quebec as enhancing the lives of anyone.

Oh... Side note... Montreal always had the hottest strippers from my experience.

Quebec wants to separate in their stated objective..."because we want the right (the government) to levy our own taxes not the federal government) so the basis of their "revolution" is to impose more taxes not to get free of anything.
Quebec cannot separate in part because they have NO economy and two they have no money system. 64% of the population by 2020 will be receiving government social security checks...there is no income in the coffers.
Quebec can't go to war as Quebec itself has no army their a SMALL part of the canadian forces and they wouldn't fight for their freedom.
Quebecs healcare system is falling apart with doctors leaving in droves to go to usa or other other parts of canada where they can get good pay and better work conditions.


I know all this after living there extensively for quite awhile.

In the time I've spent on the east side of Montreal it seems to me that Francophones there have no problem giving grief to Anglophones and tourists. It's quite a chip they have on their shoulder. With so few people inhabiting such an expansive landmass and the given the space between us, it's not surprising to see so many Inter-Canadian beefs. West coast people hating on Ontario. Ontarians hating on Torontonians. Francophones hating on everyone. Newfies hating on showers. I could go on and on...

My residency status precludes me from commenting on that ... though you can probably read between the lines as to what I think based on prior comments.

However, per capita, I don't think the US is much more efficient than the historic and ongoing Canadian subjugation and pillage of the First Nations peoples, their violent and savage expulsion of the Acadians, or the ongoing terror regime they operate both domestically and abroad to quench their insatiable bloodlust.

None of that is unique to Canada, though. It's only irritating in the case of Canada Anglophone Canada because Canadians Anglophone Canadians have a defect as a result of the brainwashing to which they've been subjected that gives them the false notion that their shit smells like roses and they're really celebrated and loved the world over.

In the words of the former British ambassador in Ottawa, the Baron Morran, in a leaked report to the foreign office:
