Any blocked settings?

Are new recruits blocked from any settings, or just maps?
Does the block include being able to be invited to games with either blocked settings or blocked maps?

they cant play sertin game types but i dont know anything else

This is what I read form the instructions page:
New Recruits must earn a promotion to join Assassin games, Terminator games, team games, large games (6 or more players) and games on complex maps (they will be hidden from Join A Game and Game Finder listings). These restrictions do not apply to private games.

they are blocked but can be invited to these types of games i was wondering the same with the quad game we are in

right but does blocked me they cannot start a game with those settings, or simply cannot join except by invite?

I know for sure that they can start games on any map. I believe that they can start games with any settings as well, although I'm not completely sure on that.
