I greatly enjoy AD&D, though I haven't played since the mid-1990s (third edition). I prefer playing in person though - nothing at all against you, but I've always felt that online gaming felt a lot more contrived (not seeing the dice roll, etc...). I've played D&D off and on since 1980. AD&D, 2nd Edition AD&D, 3rd Edition D&D. I did get the 4E books but never really played the game face to face. I've also played chatroom and forum based. Did a lot of DMing in my time.

If I play may I be a Halfling barbarian? I always want to be a halfling barbarian but my follow questers never allow it.

I've played D&D since the mid 80's. I've been a campaign with my brother and two friends since circa 1993, but we only play two or three times per year...you may have guessed that I play given my avatar.

Never played it. Though, a cousin of mine did come up with something similar once (I think it was similar), and did that once and never really got into it, though, that was more because we had nothing else to do at the time.

In my many years of playing D&D I have discovered that while it is nice for me to play my characters in a bar, it's even nicer to be in a bar to play my characters. A combination pizza place and bar is best. Although the time when we met in the back room of a chain resturant was also nice.Army of GOD wrote:Way to take this out of context.
