I'm not really sure where you can take this one. Is that 26 territories?
Could you perhaps focus more on one room and make it really detailed? The kitchen would be good, you could have an ant invasion!

That'd at least give you a pantry, floor, cupboards, sink, bench, oven/stove and maybe appliances for continents. You'd probably find they'd be easy to divide into territories too.
Just me thinking aloud.

To add more territories you could make it more like a real floor plan and include a second floor next to the first floor. Then attacks between those floors could take place across staircases.

I think I'd like it better if it was a cross section of an upright house and you could look into the rooms, like in children's books.

Unfortunately, if you are going to need someone to explain how to use a program, making a map may not be the project for you.

If you don't have any experience with graphic design applications you're fighting an uphill battle from the start. I'd love to help, but personally I'd rather spend my map making time creating my own piece of work. I'm sure other map making foundry members would feel the same.
Maybe it is best to just let this map idea go. Put it into the Free to a Good Home thread and give as many details as you can on what you have in mind.

My own map making projects aren't going anywhere, so I may be able to help you out. I've sent you a PM. Check that out and we'll see where we can go from there. If nothing else, it should give you some more ideas.
