Heads-Up Championship: Remix [Winner: Jimmy V]

It's easy to hide at a 10-player poker table. Put in your blinds when necessary and wait for the perfect cards. Heads-up play affords no such luxury. All attention is on the only two players participating in the hand. Can you handle the pressure and emerge the Heads-Up Champion?
I ran a version of this tournament in my early CC days, and I've decided I want to run it again...but better.
It's based on the National Heads-Up Poker Championship, so I want to follow that structure more closely.
A General Achievement Medal will be awarded to the first player that wins a game while holding a straight (or royal) flush.

Structure: The tournament will be played using a standard 1v1, single-elimination bracket. Each round will consist of a best-of-3 format between players.
Deadbeats: Whether before or during a game, deadbeating will result in a loss for the player. The game will not be replayed. (In the case of freemiums needing to free up slots, some leeway will be given at my discretion when that player provides advance notice.) Players have until 2 invites expire to join their games.
