This is a 1v1 tournament in which everyone is welcome to participate (freemium/premium). Its open to almost all entries, with choices of maps and settings to play. signups will last until about March 13/14 with no limit on the number of players (explained below)
[spoiler=Requirements]Although there may be some exceptions, at the time of the tournament a player should have:
1. At least 95% turns taken
2. More then 10 games played
3. 800+ score[/spoiler]
[spoiler=How the Bonanza Works]Each round, 1v1 games will be made with different combinations of maps and settings and each player must join the exact number of games that round (either 3 of 4). Games will be joined on a first come first serve basis. I will PM everyone the password for the all games in each new round and post here. If a player prefers to get invited to all games, say so in sign-ups however they will be invited a day later and not get to pick their preferred map/settings. In order to advance to the next round, a player must fulfill the requirements of the previous rounds.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Rounds]A round will continue until a certain number of people are eliminated, numbers depending on the number of signups. If in a 'sub-round' all players remaining are eliminated, the 'sup-round' will be replayed.
First Rounds - A player must win 1 of 4 games to survive. Will continue until at most 90% of competitors remain (51 out of 57)
Second Round - A player must win 1 of 3 games to survive. Will continue until at most 75% of competitors remain. (42 out of 57)
Third Round - A player must win 2 of 4 games to survive. Will continue until at most 50% of competitors remain. (28 out of 57)
Fourth Round - A player must win 2 of 3 games to survive. Will continue until at most 25% competitors remain. (14 out of 57)
Final Round - A player must win 3 of 4 games to survive. Will continue until 1 player is left standing who will be the winner[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Other Details]The tournament will be updated on the weekends and sometimes during the week.
If a contestant joins more/less then 4 games they will be disqualified immediately. If there are no games left to join and a player has joined less then 4 PM me immediately.
