EMERGENCY ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE

So, you may be wondering what kind of tourney this one is. Well, I came up with an idea for a terminator style tourney, with some twists. It is essentially a "Race across America". Using the different USA regional maps, players will begin at one side of the nation, and each round is a different region, making their way across America. Each round of games will consist of 4 or 5 player games.

There will be 128 beginning initial players. 6 rounds total. Rounds 1 and 6 will have 4 players in each game, rounds 2 through 5, with round 6 being the final. I designed it in a bracket-type visual to work it all out, and I needed 128 to start to work this the right way. Initial foursomes will be determined using random.org.

Twist 1: Some rounds will be sunny, some foggy, some mixed fog and sun, since in some regions of the U.S. there are both sunny and foggy areas in different states.

Twist 2: The final two players in each foursome will automatically advance to the next round, not just the winner. This gives 4 of the 5 players for the next round.

Twist 3: Emergency Roadside Assistance! (E.R.A)
1 player from the losing members of each of the games will be randomly selected to make the games in rounds 2-5 each 5 player games. Since it is a "race", and in races, cars break down; whether it was a flat tire, radiator blowing, accident, etc., an E.R.A. will advance one loser, kind of like an insurance policy.

Basically, there will be 4 losers out of every two games played. of those 4 losers, 1 will be randomly selected to be the "fifth wheel" of each game in rounds 2-5. They will be determined using random.org out of the losers.

Each player will only be allowed one E.R.A., so if you happen to lose after being brought back in with an E.R.A. then sorry, game over.

This tourney is open to premiums and freemiums, so if you are a freemium, please be sure to keep one slot open for tourney invites. In order to accurately move forward players for each round, only one game per round will be played.

The foursomes will be randomly selected to begin the initial 32 games. From there I will take the first two games and create the next set of games, then the next two, and so on. There will be no seeding involved or needed.

If there are any questions, feel free to reply in thread or PM me.

As in most tourneys, simply reply to the thread that you want in to join. I will keep updating the list every day or two.

UPDATE!!! i WILL BE TAKING UP TO 8 RESERVES DUE TO THE NUMBER OF INITIAL ENTRANTS.

Not sure if I would be in this particular tourney in order to avoid favoritism, in case I were to get the ERA. If people have a problem with me joining, please let me know. For now, my name is on the list.

In please. And I have no problem with you playing Fuzzy as long as the ERA is truly random (using random.org or equivalent?) and therefore you have the same chance as everyone else to receive the ERA. Shouldn't be an issue if that's the case, which I'm assuming it is.

Yep, using random .org to assign the foursomes. and will use to determine the ERA's out of each group.
