Medal Description: Awarded to members that defeated X unique opponents by winning Terminator games. Bronze=20, Silver=100, Gold=400.

Despite what the description says, do you actually have to win the terminator game in order for the defeat of somebody in a terminator game to count?

For example, if I kill off 2 opponents in a game, but somebody else defeats 5 opponents, including me, do my 2 kills count toward the medals?

It is my impression from when I got the medal... yes.

If you are playing an 8 player term game, you elim 6 players and then lose the game, you get 0 kills. If you are that guy who got one kill to win, you get 7 kills

I don't like it, but that's the way it is

This is incorrect. You can ONLY get points towards your medal if you( or your team) actually WIN the game.
So killing 6 but not the 7th in the 8 player single game, yea. that sucks.

400 points for a gold medal. points towards the total of your killscore. not rankpoints
