Last Man Standing
Anyone with one free slot can sign up!
Do you have what it takes to be the last man standing in a battle --- the strength, the agility, the tenacity, the strategy, the edurance? If you think so, then step up to the challenge!
Overall Structure
The objective of the tournament is simple, and self explanatory --- to be the last man standing.
At the start of the first round, players will be randomly split into two equal groups. These two groups will then battle each other till one side has no players remaining. Once that happens, the next round will begin, with the same process happening till only 1 player remains.
That player will be the last man (or woman) standing, and will be crowned the winner of the tournament.
So, what exactly happens during each of these rounds? Read on to find out...
The Terminator Battles
In each round, depending on the number of players in the tournament, varying numbers of 8-player, 6-player, 4-player or even 2-player terminator games will be created (2-player games will be Standard, naturally). An equal number of players from the two groups will be invited to join each game. In these terminator games, the objective is to eliminate all players from the opposing group, without getting killed.

Rules For Games
Spoiler
The objectives and rules for this part of the tournament are as follows:-
- Any player killed by a member of the opposing group will be eliminated from the tournament.
- If a player kills another player from his own group, there will be no penalty for either player. However, doing so with players from opposing group players still in the game may jeopardise the rest of the players in the game, and is done at your own risk.
- Naturally, if there are no players from the opposing group left, whatever happens after that doesn't matter.
- To ensure fairness, the order in which players are invited will be alternating from one group to another, so that no group has any 2 players taking turns back to back.
- Once all games are done, the procedure is repeated till all players from one group are eliminated from the tournament. Surviving players from the winning group will carry on to the next round.
Spoiler
The guidelines as to how the creation of games will be undertaken are as follows:-
- The number of games created depends on the lesser number of surviving players on either group, at that stage.
- A smaller number of large games will be favoured, as compared to a large number of small games. (E.g. If there are 12 players remaining on the smaller group, there will be three 8-player games, instead of four 6-player games.)
- Players will be randomly allocated to each game.
Spoiler
As you can see, often one side will have an excess number of players. These players will sit out of the stage, and avoid the risk of elimination from the tournament. To determine who these players are, the top players in the group based on the ranking system will receive the bye.
The ranking system will follow this order, with the steps to ranking as follows:-
The ranking system will follow this order, with the steps to ranking as follows:-
- Number of players from the opposing team eliminated in the round. More kills will earn a higher rank.
- CC points. More points will earn a higher rank.
Spoiler
Once there are no remaining players from either group in the round, the survivors from the winning group will be divided into 2 equal groups once again.
The groups will be divided based on the ranking of the previous round. The first and last ranked players will go to one team, while the second and penultimate ranked players will go to another. This process will continue till all players are divided.
For example, with 12 players remaining,
In the case that there are an odd number of survivors in the winning team, the groups cannot be evenly divided for the next round.
Thus, the lowest two ranking players (or more, if there are ties) will enter a tiebreaker elimination. The first person eliminated from that game will be eliminated from the tournament. This means that eliminating opposing players is important in this tournament as well, as these put you ahead in the ranking system!
