You mean as is explained in the community guidelins? Yes it is.

Do not be annoying, use common sense and see the specifics of minor infractions.
Minor Infractions are those that are more annoying than hurtful with intent. This includes but is not limited to: ........ Necro-bumping,
sarcasm on: you think it be fun to post in old threads over and over again with nothing real to add? no

But Sir looks so good with his shirt off. ;)

Seriously though, if you have a reason to post in a thread and bring it back to life, it's ok isn't it? Just don't do it for no reason.

Bumping is against the rules. Grinding is fine, though.

As long as you are adding meaningful new content to the discussion there shouldn't be any problems.

that one had me smiling...

Yea adding something is cool, just necro bumping is uncool. Considering the amount of quick replies this one got, we all have too much free time ;-)

technically, that's necrobumping. bumping can also mean drawing attention to some tread (usualy your own) by constantly spamming useless comments in it to make sure it stays on top.

yes, new and meaningful information in that bump to add to the discussion of the thread and on topic is allowed. like for example, if u just got a new tattoo and u upload a pic of it, then u could post it in the already made tattoo thread. but not just randomly post "bump" in the thread for the sake of "bumping" the thread..then it becomes necro bumping.
