Who do you think will make it to the World Series?

ANd why?



I like the Rays, is a team full of young guys ready to shine. I like their starting rotation, specially Shields and Hellicson. But of course the favorite of most is the Phillies, with that rotation and batters like Victorino, Utley, Howard..

I will also paying attention to what the Jaime Garcia and Yovani Gallardo will do.

Anything is fine except the Yankees winning.

There is no way Tampa beats the Phillies. They dont have the offense to beat Halladay, Lee, Oswalt, Hammels.
I dont think Tampa can win the ALCS as well. New York is still much better. Dont be over confident that you swept the Yankees AAA team this week.

Though I don't have a horse in the race, if the Phillies won I would be happy for Halliday as he was a great player for Toronto during his years here up North. Great guy...deserves a championship. But in the end it is ABY. That is Anyone But Yankees...

I don't really like aseball, but I think I'd randomly cheer for the Detriot Tigers since they've been under the radar.

Under the radar in terms of coverage. The news mostly covers the east coast teams and Phillies.

Rays and Cardinals in the World Series. Both teams are way too hot with way too much momentum. And the Cardinals have already gone 6-3 against the Phillies.

Red Sox

Rays & Rangers played their 7th postseason game
and the home team has finally won one.

Tigers and Phillies, Phillies winning the title. Philly has the most complete team.

I really want to see the brewers there. I think they have a pretty decent shot, though the phillies will be tough to beat.

I'm going with the Tigers and Phillies. The bats on the tigers have been outstanding since August, however, aside from Verlander, Fister and on occasion, Sherzer, the pitching has been lights out. I see Tigers closing the series out at home vs the Yankees. Tiger stadium is large, which is very much different than what the Yankees are used to. As far as the Phillies; pretty self explanatory. The bats and pitching are lights out.

The Rays are done and the Rangers advance to the AL Championship Series.

Napoli and Beltre key. Angels must be re-thinking their negotiation strategies.

Congratulations to the Tigers for facing Burnett. The Yankees should just concede.

Yea, I've realized over the past few days that whoever I root for, or whenever I think someone is good/bad, the opposite becomes true.
