EXTREMELY UNFAIR GAME; MOD'S PLZ REVIEW ASAP

The game listed above is a triples match in which a player was kicked for cheating. Instead of his territories becoming neutral and his spoils being taken out of the game, both were given to the next player on his team.

Before this happened, my team had solid control over two territories and were winning the game. The other team had control of only one territory. The rest of the map was not really controlled by anyone.

When the player in question (NodLoyalist) was kicked from the game, all his territories and spoils went to swwiist who happened to be the next player in the lineup. This gave him immediate control over two territories including the largest (a total of 11 units) plus he had six spoils to turn in giving him an additional 10 units. He proceeded to wipe out one of our teammates (now getting his cards) conquered three more territory bonuses and took away our territory bonuses giving him a total of 32 units due next turn compared to the remainder of my teams total of 6 units. We were winning. We would have won. Their teammate cheated and now they are benefiting from it. This game at the very least should be voided and at best be awarded to us.

Who ever is in charge of this site (the ones who kicked this player and set all this in motion), I hope you see this before the game ends and fix this injustice.

go to the help section and read the answer to question 32.
if you had done this you would have been prepared for what happened in your game and could have prevented that outcome.

I'm sorry, but how would we have prepared in advance for a player getting kicked. Also, I have now learned that this player may have been banned multiple times before and CC keeps allowing him back. Besides the rule is stupid. His territories should go neutral and his spoils should go to one as is what happens in non-team games. that's what's fair

always scout your opponents preferably before you join. if they're previous offenders and or have a history of deadbeating/game abuse it's better not to join that game.
if you did join a game it's still wise to check out walls and forum posts. you'd be surprised to find people discussing strategy on their wall for example. last but not least do a forum search to see if that particular user has been busted before or if he's currently being accused.
do all this + read the help section and be aware what happens when a person is kicked out and you should be pretty safe from nasty surprises.

and if you really want to be 100% sure that stuff like this doesn't happen, then, whenever possible don't let consecutive players from the other team own entire continents together.
for example in a quads game don't allow pink and cyan to have a continent together but you can allow pink with orange.

also the current rule is pretty fair. if the troops would simply become neutral, then the team with the cheater would be terribly disadvantage, wouldn't it? how would you like to be in a game make your team's strategy around a player, deploy on him and fort your troops on him and then see all those troops become neutral cause he's been busted for cheating?

one thing i agree with you is that busted players are allowed back if they pay for premium. i don't like that either but it's not my call.

I started the game, I didn't join it. I started it then couple hours later got notice the game was on. Once again, your advice is useless. You wanna go three and out?

thicker and thicker your mind proves to be.
let's try one more time, perhaps the truth you will see.

so you started the game and had no control on who joins. once the game was started what stopped you from searching the forums or reading walls? both of these actions would have quickly shown you that he's a previous offender that's been banned and has a history of returning. all these facts would have pointed to the possibility of him being banned again. this bit of info coupled with the knowledge from the help section (which you obviously never read) could have helped you prevent this situation.

Oh dear, Dim..just how do you plan for someone on another team being kicked..do you have insight that no-one else has. Bad advice and this is a stupid option that CC has developed. You help out the team of the cheater..been there seen it happen and it's wrong. Take a look at your posts Dim the mighty wise one and predict who will be the next member to be kicked from an opposing team. With what you are saying all players should have mulit-hunting skills
JBlombier wrote:Ghost20021, you should check this suggestion, you'll like it.

Everyone should read the last few posters of this pathetic idea and get the real picture..the cheating teams win..so sad. I would never allow a multi to join me unless It's a speed game and I didn't screen them enough. On the other hand maybe I should let a multi join me who gets busted and have an easy win

Stupid CC, just stupid..

no need for multihunter skills or anything else. just scout your opponents and think in advance.
if you want to make sure this NEVER happens to you then simply don't allow 2 consecutive players from the other team to own an entire continent together especially if you researched and found out one of the guys in the other team was banned before or is currently under investigation.

Ghost, normally what happens is the team with the cheating player goes on to lose anyway. I don't think I've ever played a team game before where a player on the opposing side was kicked out for violating rules (or deadbeated) and their team won.

Try to think about this from the side of the other team. They all joined the game and probably didn't know the other player. If he gets kicked out and all his troops revert to neutral, they've pretty much lost the game. Giving those troops to another player on the team prevents the whole team from being punished for one cheating player's actions, and like I said earlier, the team that's down a player usually goes on to lose the game anyway.

The suggestion JBlombier linked to makes a lot of sense, actually.
