This is a Tournament Players Association Year 2(TPA2) event, and is governed by its rules, guidelines, and judgments. All are welcome to join and participate in the association. You need do nothing more than join one or more of the TPA2 events that will be announced each Monday. Check back on the TPA2 scoreboard in the Tournaments--> General Info forum to see how you're doing.

Welcome to ContinentConquer: World Tour [TPA2]

This is a complex team tournament. There will be 16 teams of 4 people. There will be 5 brackets (1 quads, 1 trips, 2 dubs, and a 1 v 1 bracket). All players will play in the quads, the same person can not play in both the trips and 1 v 1. The same person can not play on both dub teams.

Teams need to sign up in this format, or I will assign the players for you.

The settings for every game will be Auto Deployment, Escalating Cards, Chained Reinforcements, No Fog.

Requirements:

Premium due to game load

Brackets:

Bracket 1-World Quads

Teams will play 3 games per round, 1 game each on these maps: World 2.1, Classic, Land and Sea.

Bracket 2- North America Trips

Teams will play 3 games per round, 1 game each on these maps: North America, First Nations North America, USA

Bracket 3-Europe Dubs 1

Teams will play 3 games per round, 1 game each on these maps: Europe, Europe 1914, Napoleonic Europe

Bracket 4-Africa Dubs 2

Teams will play 3 games per round, 1 game each on these maps: Africa, South Africa 1885, Eastern Hemisphere

Bracket 5-Asia 1v1

Teams will play 3 games per round, 1 game each on these maps: Far East, Indian Empire, Middle East

Scoring:

Each game win will be worth 1 point, but you must win 2 of 3 games to advance to the next round of the bracket. The team with the most points after all the brackets are finished wins the tournament. I will try to keep the game load at 6 games, but it may be more than that at one time.

Apologies, Neb. Been so long since we signed up that I didn't even know this one was still out there to try to warn you that we lost half our team before the invites went out.

Partly my fault - I knew this one had been waiting a while, but decided to go ahead and deal with any drop-outs after the games were sent.

The Reserve team will go in and I will send the invites once the reservations have timed out - about 3 hours from now.

Ok, but we are in Round 3 of the Europe dubs and that hasn't been updated since round 1. I'm just curious who else is left? Even if you only update the bracket I think it would be helpful. Thanks!

A belated thanks for rescuing this tournament.

I was just wondering if we could see a tally of points earned so far by each team? We are in the finals for the N.A. Trips bracket but I realize that doesn't necessarily mean we have any chance of winning this tournament. We'd have to know how many points we have and how many points all the other teams have to know if we have a shot.
