Details:

The Mafia families of NYC have all prospered from deals with NYPD and a long-standing truce.

Given the level of trust established, a secret warehouse meeting takes place.

Nobody is shot.

Instead, an unlikely Alliance is formed, with the objective to begin expanding mafia control.

Three areas are targeted: New Jersey, Philadelphia and Chicago.

The first phase of operations is to eliminate rival gangs from these areas to establish control ...

Tournament Format

This will be an 8-team single elimation knock-out bracket tournament.

Each round will take place on a different map, in the order of Mafia operations listed:

  First Round - - New Jersey
  
  Semi-Finals - - Philadelphia
  
  Final - - Prohibition Chicago

Settings

Given the increasing availiabiity of new recruits in this economic depression, and established intel of other gangs movements, the following settings are in place:

Triples
Automatic
Sequential
Escalating
Chained
Sunny
No Trench
30-Round Limit

Requirements

Freemiums may play as long as they have one free slot available for this tournament.

Signing-Up

Players signing-up individually will be randomly matched to other individual players.

The final individual player(s) to sign up might not be guaranteed a place if there aren't sufficient individuals to make full teams.

Teams signing-up together should provide a team name.

The Draw

Teams’ opponents will be determined by random.org.

Missing Turns or Timing-Out

If deliberate missed-turns are suspected then they will be investigated.

If timing-out occurs, it will be assumed to be deliberate, and the team in question will not be allowed to win the game in question (if they do win then the game is declared as a draw).

Joining Matches

Players will be informed when they have a match and will have 24 hours to join. If they fail to do so then they will be ejected from the tournament and a reserve will replace them.
