Welcome to what will be my 41st tournament! This tournament will be played on two of my favorite maps: City Mogul and Woodboro! The tournament is only open to Premium players. This tournament will feature 1v1, standard, assassin, and randomly-partnered team games!
Like many of the tournaments I've been running lately, the format will be one where points are awarded after each round, and players are eliminated after select rounds. Games will be sequential, casual, foggy, and chained. Games on City Mogul will be manual and no spoils (unless specified otherwise). All games will feature 20 round limits. Other settings will vary.
Exact Structure of Tournament:Tie-breakers will take place on City Mogul. If the tie involves 3 or more players, the game will be Assassin.Spoiler
Round 1: 1v1 City Mogul
Payout: $10 for Win
Round 2: 1v1 Woodboro (Flat Rate)
Payout: $10 for Win
Round 3: City Mogul Quads
Payout: $10 for Win
Round 4: Woodboro Quads (No Spoils)
Payout: $10 for Win
Round 5: City Mogul Assassin 4 Player
Payout: $35 for Win, -$5 for being assassinated
Round 6: Woodboro Standard 4 Player (Escalating)
Payout: $30 for Win
After Round 6, the 2 players with the least money are eliminated leaving 14.
Rounds 7-9: City Mogul 1v1
Payout: $15 per Win
Rounds 10-12: Woodboro 1v1 (1 No Spoils, Nuclear, 1 No Spoils/Trench)
Payout: $15 per win.
After Round 12, the 2 players with the least amount of money are eliminated leaving 12.
Round 13: Woodboro Standard 6 Player (Escalating)
Payout: $100 for win
Round 14: City Mogul Assassin 3 Player (Nuclear)
Payout: $60 for Win, -$10 for being assassinated
After Round 14, the bottom 2 are eliminated leaving 10.
Rounds 15-17: City Mogul 1v1 (2 Normal, 1 Trench)
Payout: $40 per Win
Rounds 18-20: Woodboro 1v1 (1 No Spoils, 1 Flat Rate, 1 Nuclear)
Payout: $40 per win.
After Round 20, bottom 2 are eliminated leaving 8.
Round 21: City Mogul Quads Top 4 in Standings vs. Bottom 4 in Standings
Payout: $60 for win
Round 22: Woodboro Doubles. (1st and 2nd in standings vs. 7th and 8th), (3rd and 4th vs. 5th and 6th)
Payout: $60 for win
After Round 22, bottom 2 are eliminated leaving 6.
Round 23: Woodboro standard 6 player (Escalating)
Payout: $200 for Win
Round 24: City Mogul Terminator 6 player (Escalating)
Payout: $75 per Kill
After Round 24, bottom 2 are eliminated leaving 4 players. These 4 form a playoff bracket with seeding based on standings. Tie-breakers for seeding will call upon Head-to-Head record if necessary. If that does not settle it, a 1v1 city mogul game will be played to decide.
Round 25: Semi-finals. All games form here on will be no spoils.
Seed 1 plays Seed 4. 4 City Mogul Games and 4 Woodboro Games. Seed 1 wins in event of tie.
Seed 2 plays Seed 3. 4 City Mogul Games and 4 Woodboro Games. Seed 2 wins in event of tie.
Round 26: Finals.
6 City Mogul Games and 6 Woodboro Games. In event of tie, higher seed wins.
All partners and opponents will be randomly chosen unless specified otherwise.
All games in between eliminations will be sent out at once. For example, Rounds 1-6 will be sent out at once.
Failure to accept two invites will result in elimination.
