The Highway 99 tunnel machine has been stopped since Friday night after hitting some kind of obstruction, according to KaDeena Yerkan, tunnel spokeswoman for the state Department of Transportation.
“We don’t know what it is. We don’t know whether it is man made or natural,” she said Monday morning.

Simple. The extension lead plugged into the socket at the start of the tunnel, was too short and pulled the plug out of the wall. Just need to buy another 25m extension reel and plug it back in
