I'm in a tournament with Great Ollie and he just got booted for violating rules.

Anyone know what happened?

He was caught browsing Cajun food takeaway menus in the public fora.

usually when that happens, it is a multi violation... check with the head of his clan, maybe they can contact him and find out... good luck..-Jésus noir

i asked an admin and got a speedy response:

With poly games, it has always been like this. Only one slot of the 'poly team' will be kicked out. It was found to create more issues when it was attempted to have all the slots kicked out so it is left alone to be like this for poly games.

Intriguing. Can they still play is the question I suppose not if Ollie is banned but it's still strange that they are still there.

my guess is that in both cases he didn't create the accounts. probably initially his brother and a friend, and then he took over the accounts when those guys lost interest or simply asked ollie to boost their scores.

It appears both accounts have been reinstated...

I think we all know the truth. And that's that someone who plays on GO's computer as obsessively as Ollie is Ollie not a relative who casually decided to take a shot at moving their score from 1000 to 3000 in a month.

If that's the case i guess he not the only person that wonders in and out of other people's accounts and play turns for them even when not asked to do so ........ you know anybody like that betiko?

Great Ollie is indeed back to premium. Either he re-bought premium or was reinstated.

Due to some other commitments in real life, Ollie has been on a leave of absence from TOFU activities for a couple months and hasn't contacted us at all, so we were unaware of any of this until a few days ago. TOFU has taken the same approach as the site administration in allowing Ollie's account to remain active to give him time to respond to the accusations. As KA noted, Ollie has not logged into the site since he was guested, and we have heard no more from him than have the admins, and lacking any response, we will remove him. Right now we suspect that either Ollie is innocent and is fed up with the site, or he is guilty and probably won't be back. We make no judgement and leave it up to the admins to decide. In the meantime, Ollie is on "administrative leave" from TOFU.
