You could build a doubles or triples game.

Set a password once your partner/s join, the game becomes public.

or we just wait for the "Change private games to public" update and as soon as your partner joins you move it to the public section.

I have been trying to set up a game for a couple of friends and I to play together, against whoever...
It's taken three tries now, because someone else joins before the third partner can get back to the computer to join the game.

I would MUCH prefer a password protected game that we can open up once a team is formed.

Try doing it when CC has less members online, my teammate joined 10 minutes later than I made the game the other day and still got in as my teammate!
