Its time to Get A Life - in celebration (condolences) of Silly Knig-it starting his 10,000th game
and who knows maybe finishing his 10,000 in the same tournament

Looking for 24 to 32 players (multiples of 8, will take reserves for the first round)

Four each of the terminator games, I will throw the names in random.org and see who surfaces
Games will be issued two per week, Round Two will start as soon as it is clear who the top 16 are, Finals will start as soon as it is clear who the top 6 are. I will only use reserves for the first two sets issued. After that If someone fails to pick up a game, I will reissue the game. (ie, 8 person game, 1 drops, I will pull the game and reissue a 7 person game.) Deadbeating is grounds for immediate elimination. (With of course Real Life exemptions if you tell me, otherwise you are eliminated.)

First Round

Second Round
Four rounds of terminator Age of Merchants

Settings

4 person, auto, seq, esc, para, 20 rounds

Top 6 advance, scores do not carry over

Terminator Scoring

1 pt - 1st kill
1 pt - each kill (yes first kill scores 2)
1 pt - win
-5 pts if you win on the round limit; Yes that is correct, you lose 5 points if you win on round limit and no you don't get the point for the win

Finals
Round robin 1v1 on 13 colonies

Settings

auto, seq, poly 2, esc, para, fog, trench

Tie Breakers

1st - Most points in 1st and 2nd round combined
2nd - Most points in 1st round
3rd - Most points in 2nd round
4th - Total number of non vowel characters in your user name that is closest to a number between 1 and 10 chosen by Random.org (procedure repeated if necessary)

Games are to be picked up within twenty-four hours. (If you have a sitter please tell them that they are allowed to accept tournament games.) Failure to pick up game will result in your elimination.

Exceptions to this

As always, if you suspect there might be a problem, tell me, and in most cases things can be worked out. I am very willing to work around real life if you tell me. I have held games, sent second invites, etc., when I know. Just a short note that says RL has me tied up until Thursday is sufficient. PM, wall, text message, carrier pigeon, something. Just let me know.

Tie Breaker for 2nd part

14 players qualified for second part. 16 are needed. So we go to the tie breaker. The first random number pulled was 4.
