If you're losing, and you get the chance to start the round.... STALL??? game playing nicely until they obviously losing and got the chance to start the round then BOOM game halts.... so I ask you is this a silent hidden rule i didn't see somewhere or just sore losers?

Also realize not all games are real time, in fact most aren't, people might wander off for any reason. Now if you joined a private game set up to be real time and someone did this, then I'd get ticked off.

Delaying turns is often a tactic used in freestyle.

I agree with crzyblue on this one. I had a game where it was none stop fighting at 12pm. All players from the east coast. Next thing you know I am winning, and the player doesnt make another move till 1:15am, and then again the following day at 2:30am. come on, wth is up with people and these damn tatics. Also when playing doubles both players stop magicly? Amazing, and I though duplicate accounts were not legal on this website, inless it is a tatic to make people wait.

You might want to report whoever did that in the appropriate forum. Even if they aren't multis it doesn't hurt to have them check.

Stall tactics

I don't believe I would ever try a stall tactic (sequential game), but some people do this hoping that you'll forget whatever strategy you were using. Heck, that's why you should use "note to self" and explain your strategy in case you ever forget

That same check box switches to "team only" in Doubles. Therefore, they could very easily coordinate an attack or stall (e.g. "let's not go again until we can both log on - say 2:15 AM").

I don't play freestyle teams - for the very reason that stalling is indeed a very effective strategy (causing other team not to have enough time to make/complete a move). While it is considerably below board, it is completely within the rules ...

Finally, there are always things that come up to take us away from this infernal machine that destroys our soles and leaves us with only a thin husk.
