Classic 8 escalator. (IN PROGRESS)

this will be pretty straight forward.
i'll make eight 8 player primary games, you'll be placed in 4 randomly with 7 other players. win one to advance to the final.
final will be every player with a win and will be 12 games sent in groups of 4 each week. (thats 4 games a week for 3 weeks)
point schedule;
primary game win = 2 points
final game win = 4 points
player elimination in final game = 1 point
Oceania/South America bonus held in final game = .2 each round
map/settings;
classic/default
winner gets a trophy, plus a month premium for each full point above 2nd place (1 year max)
any ties will be a sudden death game among the contested scores for 1st place.

ok, you have 4 games each. to advance, you'll have to win one of these. it's technically possible for one person to win all 8 and take the championship just like that. but it's also possible to have an 8 player final as well.
i'm guessing the finals will be 6 player games. good luck folks.

still one game active. it's ready to burst tho and could finish any turn now.
misteryforall won 2 games, so currently a 6 or 7 player field for the finals. pending the outcome of this last game.

to clear things up, the points for the SA/Oceania bonus can stack. so if you hold them both, you get points for both. you will not get points for the other bonuses tho. and the log has to score your bonus armies for that turn. if the game ends before you get the bonus, then it doesn't count.

well, i guess we'll have to move things along.
PvRvD is AWOL, no login since 7 days, and i sent a wall and a pm with no response. so i will eliminate him from the tournament, and we will get back to it.
so, i'll drop the current waiting games, and create 4 new 5 player games.
