Yay New Tournament
This will be a league based on The Australian Football League (AFL/AUSSIE RULES)
there will be 16 teams which are as follows
Adelaide Crows - moerms (via pm)
Brisbane Lions
Carlton Blues
Collingwood Magpies - flexmaster33
Essendon Bombers - Lucifer4o
Fremantle Dockers
Geelong Cats - macwin
Hawthorn Hawks - amazzony
North Melbourne Kangaroos
Melbourne Deamons
Port Adelaide Power - LoVo
Richmond Tigers - BagwellTheGreat
St Kilda Saints - Hrvat

you can look up your team at
http://www.afl.com.au
the season will be 22 weeks
it will follow the 2008 fixture found here
http://www.afl.com.au/Default.aspx?tabid=208&newsId=52786
there will be a final series for the top 8 which i can explain in more detail when we get to that. (in the event of a tie a win for and against will take place, if still drawn a tie breaker will take place
You will receive 4 points for a win and 2 for a draw (game going past 15 rounds) and 0 for a loss.
Anyone can join but freemies need to keep 1 slot open for bout 5 months or so... each game will be posted at the appropriate time and day according to fixture above and when the tourny starts *ie not the date* so you must always have a game free at that time
i ask that you post your home settings in this thread, all sets so yo ucan have freestyle and fog if u wish as it is a true home settings and gives you the home ground advantage.
any questions just ask me, im a friendly guy

Awesome...I'll take the Magpies...
Home settings...Canada, sequential, chained, flat rate...no fog
Friend of mine got me into Aussie Rules several years ago...we've done their fantasy league a few times...unfortunately it's hard to find their games on TV in America...sometimes late at night they appear if you're lucky.
Should be fun...I'm looking forward to it.
